  • Produced the Monterey Pop Festival along with John Phillips of The Mamas and the Papas.
  • Adler and Shelley Fabares separated in 1966, two years after they married. However, they did not divorce until 1980.
  • Founder of Ode Records (1967), which he sold in 1975 at a considerable profit. He also managed acts such as Jan & Dean. He later dabbled in music-based film productions, such as The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) and Ladies and Gentlemen, the Fabulous Stains (1982).
  • Co-founder--with Pierre Cossette, Bobby Roberts and Al Bennett--of Dunhill Records (1965-1975), Los Angeles, California.
  • Often seen sitting courtside next to Jack Nicholson at Los Angeles Lakers basketball games.
  • Has one son together with actress Britt Ekland: Nic Adler (born 1973).
  • Has four sons with Page Hannah.
  • He was awarded a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for Recording at 6901 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California on April 6, 2006.
  • Brother-in-law of Daryl Hannah and Don Hannah.
  • In 1978, he fathered a second son, Cisco Adler, with then-girlfriend Phyllis Somer.
  • Former Vice President of Screen Gems, working with its subsidiaries Colpix Records and Dimension Records.
