(1946-50) Radio: Appeared (as "Sam Spade") in "The Adventures of Sam Spade". NOTE: Duff was forced out of the show when he was accused of being a "Communist sympathizer" during the notorious McCarthy era.

(1964) Unsold pilot: Co-starred in the pilot for a proposed CBS adventure series called "Calhoun" starring Jackie Cooper and Barbara Stanwyck.

(1956) Unsold pilot: Starred in a pilot for a proposed series to be called "I Love a Mystery." The series was not connected to the famous radio series of the same name, but was instead envisioned as an anthology of mystery stories. Duff starred as a detective in the pilot (not Sam Spade, however).
