Miura Kite is President, Global Content at MFF&Co, an international TV and Film Studio with branches in Los Angeles, São Paulo and London. Previously, she was Executive Vice President of Global Television for Participant, the leading media company dedicated to entertainment that stands at the intersection of art and activism. Kite Executive Produced Interior Chinatown for Hulu, two seasons of Noughts + Crosses for BBC1, and the docuseries Keep Sweet: Pray and Obey for Netflix. She was also the development executive on Ava DuVernay's When They See Us for Netflix. Prior to Participant, in her role as Head of Development at Playtone, Kite co-produced HBO's Emmy Award-winning miniseries The Pacific and the HBO Emmy Award-winning film Game Change. Kite grew up in Iowa City, Iowa and serves on the Advisory Board of WeForShe, a women's advocacy group that strives to find practical ways to bring about a gender-balanced landscape in television.
