  • Makes her home on the westernmost edge of Europe near Clifden, Connemara, County Galway, Ireland (birthplace of her father Peter O'Toole). (2007)
  • Though Kate never appeared in any of her father's films, she did play the daughter of her real-life mother Siân Phillips in La chambre obscure (1969), their only joint venture.
  • In 1984, while appearing on stage in Brendan Behan's "The Hostage" (directed by Jim Sheridan) at the Irish Arts Centre on West 51st Street in NYC, her father, Peter O'Toole, made a surprise entrance at the end of the show on closing night to play a bit part. The audience, needless to say, was overwhelmed.
