- James Moll was born in 1963 in Allentown, Pennsylvania, USA. He is a producer and director, known for Trenches of Rock (2019), P.O.V. (1988) and Inheritance (2006).
- Graduate of Fairfax High School in Los Angeles, and USC Film School.
- Started film career as an intern for producer Lauren Shuler Donner, and was hired by Shuler-Donner to be assistant to director Francis Veber.
- Co-Founded the Shoah Foundation with Steven Spielberg and June Beallor.
- James played piano for Delta Gamma's entry in UCLA Spring Sing and helped them win a prize.
