[in Cleo magazine, August 2000] Let me start by saying it wasn't like I walked out one day and said, "I quit". It was a very long process of quitting the show. Aaron [producer Aaron Spelling] got as fed up with me as I was with the show, and I think it was because the notoriety was too much. It was really the experience on 'Little House' that spurred that passion on for being an actor, and it was having a mentor like Michael Landon, And I don't care what anybody else's experience was like. I know the truth about that man, and he was just unbelievable. So, so, so talented, so kind, so considerate. It really helped shape me.
