Maria retired in 2008, then worked as an Interior Designer with her husband.

Married to Fortney, and living in Ross CA, North of San Francisco. (June 2013)

Set up on a blind date with fellow Actor Tate Donovan, Pitillo later called on Donovan to audition for Partners, and as fate turned out, he had already met with studio execs about the show.

Attended Northern Highlands Regional High School, but was prevented from attending her graduation ceremony after an altercation with her English Teacher.

Oddly, outside of Godzilla, much of Maria Pitillo's work is only available on DVD in Europe or Australia. This includes The Lost Capone, Chaplin, Something To Believe In, and Spike of Bensonhurst.

Voice trained with Vocalist Robbie McCauley, and studied Meisner-Technique acting with William Esper and Harold Guskin in New York, and at Jeff Goldblum's Playhouse West in Los Angeles.

Performed two songs, including the Jazz Standard, Bye Bye Blackbird in The Lost Capone (1990).

Avid runner and yoga enthusiast.
