- She was temporarily blinded during the scene in Star Trek, le film (1979) which Lieutenant Ilia was taken by V'Ger, a scene which required her to keep her eyes wide open while being bombarded by intense light. This resulted in a form of flash blindness from which she soon recovered.
- She shaved her head for the role of Lieutenant Ilia in the film Star Trek, le film (1979). At first, she shed tears over the haircut, but smiled after the finishing powder was applied to her scalp and her facial features were more defined by Fred Phillips.

The two actors had shot a song riding a bike in Central Park in New York. The film was shelved for financial reasons. (1976)
