Things have definitely been moving very slow for Kevin Costner and Morgan Freeman-produced miniseries The Gray House. The show was first announced to be in the works back in 2022, and there really hasn't been a ton of information about the production and its status. Now, we finally have a promising update.

A little over a year ago in April 2024, Variety shared that the historical drama would be opening the Monte-Carlo Television Festival that year, which took place in June. Then a few months after that in September, Deadline revealed that some big names in the music industry have contributed to the soundtrack. We'll get to that in a moment. The 21-year-old actress and the 22-year-old budding actor shared kisses on the red carpet at the premiere of The Electric State on Monday night (February 24) at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood.

The Electric State is the latest movie from The Russo Brothers, best known for their work on Marvel movies. The film follows Michelle (Brown), an orphaned teenager who traverses the American West in search of her younger brother. Joining her on the journey is a sweet but mysterious robot and an eccentric drifter (Chris Pratt).

For those who don’t know, Jake is the son of rock star Jon Bon Jovi. He appeared in the indie movies Sweethearts and Rockbottom last year, making his acting debut.

Kid Rock joined the musician onstage in a surprise appearance, singing “Proud Mary” by Creedence Clearwater Revival.

Two minutes into the performance, he stopped singing and asked the band to pause and told the crowd to clap, demonstrating how they should do it.

The Hollywood Reporter has been tipped to the slated performers on the lineup. They include: Dead & Company, John Mayer, Mick Fleetwood with Stewart Copeland, Norah Jones, Maren Morris, Noah Kahan, Vampire Weekend, Sierra Ferrell and Lukas Nelson, Dwight Yoakam, Billy Strings, My Morning Jacket, the War and Treaty, Sammy Hagar, Zac Brown and the War on Drugs. Previous Grateful Dead collaborator Bruce Hornsby is also expected and friend of the band, and Bravo TV host, Andy Cohen — himself a longtime Deadhead who has hosted Weir on Watch What Happens — will Mc the evening.

A new Bon Jovi anthology book, Bon Jovi: Forever, is set for a June release via Genesis Publications.

The lavish tome was authored by Jon Bon Jovi himself and chronicles the band’s 40-plus-year career. The books are handmade in a limited edition of 1,500 copies — each hand-signed by Jbj — and are packaged with a bevy of extra collectibles.

The 264-page compendium is quarter-bound in black vegan leather and is housed in a black clamshell box. Content-wise, the book features Jon Bon Jovi’s 35,000-word narrative biography alongside interviews and memorabilia, including handwritten lyrics, tour passes and posters, stage costumes, guitars, studio track lists, plus hundreds of photographs from the band’s personal archives and private collections.

An excerpt from Jbj in the book reads: “I was single-minded. There was no plan B, even before there was an audience. It was just the feeling that you got singing a song, and then playing in a band.

Bon Jovi have announced a vinyl reissue and deluxe expanded edition of their seminal 1986 album Slippery When Wet, arriving February 28th via Island/UMe.

Two vinyl pressings will be available, including a highly collectible liquid-filled disc limited to 1,300 copies worldwide ($99), as well as a picture disc limited to 1,500 copies ($39.98). In addition, a cassette reissue is also being released, with the tape and vinyl pressings containing only the original album tracks.
