Nick Amadeus 2021
Nick Amadeus was born and raised in New York City to a Broadway actress mother and playwright (slash-waiter) father.

In true Cameron Crowe fashion, Nick got an early start. At age 11, he created, wrote, and starred in a public access show about comic books that would subsequently become the Sci-Fi Channel's "The Anti Gravity Room", which ran for 6 seasons and allowed Nick to learn from such mentors as Ben Stiller, Janeane Garofalo, and Neil Gaiman.

While on a low-income scholarship to Brooklyn's infamous St. Ann's High School, alongside classmates Lena Dunham, Emma Straub, and Ry Russo Young, Nick developed shows for Buena Vista including "The Nick Amadeus Show" which would later become cult-favorite, "The Instant Talk Show."

In his 20's, Nick wrote about pop-culture and movies for Laurie Pike's punk rock Vanity Fair magazine Glue (under the name "Particle Board Boy"), wrote for SundanceTV, Keller/Noll, and worked with Veep producers on ad campaigns for The Clinton Foundation and The Obamas. Somewhere along the way he also played guitar in a band managed by A Tribe Called Quest's Q-Tip, and survived a motorcycle crash.

Separation, Nick's first feature (which he co-wrote with A History Of Violence producer Josh Braun) is directed by William Brent Bell and stars Brian Cox, Mamie Gummer, and Rupert Friend.

Nick is working on his next feature, ASD (2022), and is developing TV projects with producers from 30 Rock fame.

A New Yorker in LA, Nick resides in a crooked house with his wife, two daughters, and an anxiety prone dog named Miles.
