The execs will take part in a pitching session, as the market returns for its second edition.

Senior representatives from the likes of Sky, House Productions, Curzon, Channel 4 and Paramount+ will be taking part in a pitch session with up-and-coming filmmakers, writers and producers as part of the second edition of the UK’s Birmingham Film and TV Market (Bftm).

The market – which last year was called the Birmingham Film Market – will take place at The Grand Hotel in Birmingham on October 7.

It is to take place on November 26.

The UK’s inaugural Birmingham Film Market (Bfm) is set to take place on November 26, with the likes of Sony Pictures’ senior vice president of scripted production Michaela Fereday, as well as representatives from Curzon, Bad Wolf and Bankside Films in attendance as part of a pitching opportunity for aspiring filmmakers and TV series creators from across the West Midlands.

Further companies taking part include Red Production Company, who will be sending head of development Chloe Dunbar, Goldfinch First Flights, Independent Entertainment, Creative England, Broke & Bones, Portopia Productions, Merman Productions and Acorn TV.
