Jeffrey Pritz was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan the son of a
Ford Motor blue collar. With his solid story sense, deep producing
craft and a nose for the audience, he represents the latest crop of
young Hollywood producer/directors to hail from the late
Samuel Z. Arkoff camp. The big boss man
of American International Pictures which was an early practice ground
for young producer/directors such as
Martin Scorsese,
Francis Ford Coppola,
Woody Allen,
Ivan Reitman and
Brian De Palma. Having worked with the
late Samuel Z. Arkoff and his son Lou Arkoff,
he learned first hand from one of the industry's legendary producers.
Empowering him with 5 decades of film making savvy. Upon completing
five feature films with Stan Winston and
the Arkoffs, he was given the opportunity to experience work with other
producers and directors such as
Steven Spielberg and
Tom Hanks.
