Christian Taylor is an award-winning English-Argentine-American screenwriter, director, and producer acclaimed for his work on groundbreaking TV dramas like Lost, Six Feet Under, Teen Wolf, Clone Wars, Eye Candy, Resident Alien, and Wolf Pack. An active advocate for LGBTQ+ representation, Taylor crafts dynamic storytelling that pushes boundaries and diverse representation.
Born in London to a British Mother and Argentine father, Taylor was raised between Mexico City and Notting Hill. He attended Bedales School before studying filmmaking at New York University. His thesis film, The Lady in Waiting, won a Student Academy Award and earned an Oscar nomination.
Taylor was integral to the development and production of the Emmy-nominated hit Six Feet Under, was nominated for his writing by the WGA, and won a Writers Guild of America Award for ABC's cultural phenomenon, Lost. His directorial debut, Showboy, garnered international acclaim, winning the Douglas Hickox Award and Best Film at the Milan International Film Festival.
He co-created Fox's sci-fi drama New Amsterdam, served as head writer for Lucasfilm's Emmy-nominated Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and contributed to Marvel's Luke Cage, MTV's Teen Wolf and the acclaimed comedy Resident Alien. He recently wrote and directed Wolf Pack. He is currently developing The Degenerates, an intense and gripping WWII resistance thriller which he wrote and plans to direct.
