Image
Daniel Williams, the former drummer of the metalcore band the Devil Wears Prada, was among the victims of a fatal plane crash in San Diego. The private airplane he was riding in crashed in a San Diego neighborhood Thursday morning, according to his father. The owner of the plane was later identified as music agent David Shapiro.

Shapiro, who was the pilot of the plane at the time of the crash, was also among the victims of the tragedy. Shapiro was a spokesperson for Sound Talent Group, which he co-founded. Alongside Williams and Shapiro, the agent and two other employees of Stg were killed as well.

Shortly before the plane took flight, Williams shared three posts on his Instagram story, which confirmed that Shapiro was also on the plane. One other post showed the cockpit of the plane with a joke that confirmed Shapiro to be the primary pilot while Williams posed as the co-pilot.

“We all work from home, so we have to keep contact in with each other constantly,” Israel said. “They’re writing the episodes...
