international scholar grants for study.
Left a teaching position at Indiana University to pursue film scoring in Los Angeles.
Worked with Hans Zimmer on Black Hawk Down, and Spirit.
Recipient of numerous national and international composition awards including Midwest Composers Symposium, ASCAP/Morton Gould Young Composer Awards (twice), ISCM Cultural Foundation of Warsaw, Deutscher Akademischer Austauschungdienst Bureau, Polish National Radio Orchestra, and Society of Composers Inc.
