Chris Watson(II)

Working with sound since 1972, Chris Watson currently specializes in location and field recordings, mostly for natural history documentaries. Many of these documentaries have been broadcast on BBC television and radio. Other nature recordings have found their way onto his solo CDs, many of which have received international acclaim. In the late 1970s and early 1980s he was a member of the early English industrial music group Cabaret Voltare. After departing C.V., he co-founded The Hafler Trio, an experimental music project. In 1987 he formally began his present work as a sound recordist.
