Anne Ziegler
Anne Ziegler was one half of the British vocal duo, Ziegler and Booth (Webster Booth 1902-1984). Teaming up in the 1930's, they were the British answer to Jeanette MacDonald and Nelson Eddy. Ziegler and Booth became household names with radio broadcasts and records and their theme tune was "Only A Rose". They emigrated to South Africa when their type of singing went out of fashion.
