General Hospital spoilers ask fans if Sofia Mattsson, who recently left the role of Sasha Corbin, was offered a role on another soap, should she go to Dool or Y&r?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sophia Mattson Left Gh To Pursue Other Opportunities
Sofia Mattsson left Gh to pursue other opportunities, but made it clear that she would definitely be interested in returning someday.
While Mattsson feels that her Gh character has unfinished business in Port Charles, namely with Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson), we thought, just for fun, we would ponder this question.
If Mattsson were to join Days of Our Lives, we think she might make a good Abigail Dimera (last played by Marci Miller). Even though Abigail was brutally murdered, it’s still a soap.
There are no rules when it comes to back-from-the-dead storylines on soaps, as no death is ever really final, especially on Days.
That goes double for Days of Our Lives.

The massively underrated Renny Harlin/Shane Black action film with Geena Davis and Samuel L. Jackson is getting a well-deserved upgrade. The Long Kiss Goodnight is also a notable movie that Samuel L. Jackson says he would love to do a sequel for. However, as fun as it is, the Christmas action film can always stand strongly on its own without the concern of a follow-up that misguidedly taints it. However, hopefully the film will find a new audience as Blu-ray.com is now reporting that The Long Kiss Goodnight is getting a 4K Ultra-hd release, courtesy of Arrow Video. And if you’re a fan of the film, it’s Christmas time for you, because you’re getting all the goodies to come with it.
The description reads,
“From screenwriter Shane Black and director Renny Harlin comes ass-kicking action thriller The Long Kiss Goodnight.

Sheila Carter has always been a force of destruction, leaving a trail of heartbreak and horror across The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless. But now, the next generation of Carter chaos could be brewing. All it would take is for her granddaughters to come face to face and get to know one another!
A Bloodline of Chaos and Mayhem

The Nice Guys, directed and written by Shane Black, was not a flop by any means. It accrued generally positive reviewsand profited around $12 million. Still, it was not as much of a hit as it should have been. Other movies have become classics for much less. Except for perhaps sometimes being confused with Will Ferrell's The Other Guys, another buddy action movie, there is no real identifiable reason why this film has flown so far under the radar for so long.
The Nice Guys stars beloved actors Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe, as well as features performances from the likes of Margaret Qualley (a rather buzzworthy name this year following her star-making turn in The Substance), Matt Bomer (Magic Mike), and Angourie Rice (Mean Girls), to name a few. The Young and the Restless has done many crossovers with The Bold and the Beautiful. Many characters have traveled to Los Angeles, whether for a short visit or a permanent stay. 2025 could bring more crossovers with these Genoa City residents.
Lauren’s Unfinished Business
Genoa City businesswoman Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) has made many crossovers to B&b. Most of Lauren’s visits involve business and seeing Forrester Creations’ newest fashions to sell in her boutiques. With Hope (Annika Noelle) and Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) now in charge, they want to keep Fc’s loyal buyers, including Lauren. The couple inviting Lauren to Los Angeles to pitch their idea for Fc’s future would make an interesting scene. Since Lauren is Eric’s (John McCook) friend, she’ll decide whether to remain loyal to the Forrester or trust Hope and Carter.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Phyllis Summer’s Car Collison Caused By Heather’s “Real” Killer
The Young and the Restless (Y&r) spoilers indicate Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is about to get into a massive car crash on Wednesday, November 13 – the special 13,000th episode no less.
The soap dropped a preview video for the big show, and while fans can expect plenty of Dabby wedding fun, they need to brace themselves for a ton of chaos.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Faulty Breaks Seem To Be The Issue
Y&r spoilers note that Phyllis will be driving somewhere in the dark. It seems as if she may be in a rush to go somewhere, so there’s a small chance she’s gathered the evidence she needs to nail Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) for Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) demise.
Still, the Y&r preview clip hints that someone will tamper with Phyllis’ car. It looks like she’ll try to break but won’t be able to,...

Murder mystery movies are often dark and dangerous, but there are some which use a murder investigation as a set-up for comedy. People often find relief in laughing at taboo subjects, which goes some way to explaining why crime comedies are so popular. Humor can also be used to deconstruct the rigid framework of the mystery genre, which often seems stuck in the days of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle or Agatha Christie.
Some of the best murder mystery movies double as hilarious comedies. It's not easy to balance these two disparate sides, especially since murder can often feel too heavy. However, with some dark humor and a compelling mystery, comedies about murder can work brilliantly. From the 1930s right up to the present day, there are many fantastic murder mystery comedies for people who can see the funny side of death.

Sharon desperately needs a redemption arc. She’s in deep trouble. She can’t come back after killing Heather on The Young and the Restless, but her mother, Doris, could help salvage whatever’s left of Sharon’s character.
What Happened to Doris?
Doris Collins (Karen Hensel) is still alive and well. Her last appearance was in 2011. As a rebellious teenager, Sharon (Sharon Case) escaped home in a snowstorm. Doris anxiously looked for her daughter and ended up in a car accident that caused her to lose the use of her legs.
Sharon put a lot of stress on her mother. She got pregnant at 16 years old. Doris advised Sharon to give the baby up for adoption, and Sharon decided to go through with it. Of course, later, she ended up raising her daughter, Cassie (Camryn Grimes), and Nick (Joshua Morrow) adopted Cassie. Unfortunately, Cassie died in a car accident.

The Young and the Restless heavily focuses on Sharon this week and her quest to poison Daniel. This haunting storyline could bring Daisy back. She won’t be happy to hear about Sharon’s doing with the love of her life.
What’s Going On With Sharon?
Sharon (Sharon Case) hasn’t been herself lately. Ever since she’s been off her meds, she’s been hallucinating and acting erratically. She can hear Cameron (Linden Ashby), encouraging her to poison Daniel (Michael Graziadei).
She tried to make her dark thoughts go away, but there were moments when she blacked out and did things she didn’t want to do. On the Thursday, September 26th episode, Sharon had decided not to poison Daniel, and she’d cleaned up the mess she’d made. As she left, she came face to face with Heather (Vail Broom).
At one point, she confronted Heather.

The Young and The Restless spoilers and rumors tease little girl Lucy Romalotti’s (Lily Brooks O’Briant) going through some major changes since entering her teenage years. Longtime viewers know that Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) isn’t Lucy’s birth mom-Daisy Carter (Yvonne Zima) is, and Lucy’s maternal grandparents carry some very bad genes!
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Lucy Romalotti’s Maternal Grandparents
Of course it depends upon whether one believes in nature, or nurture, but there seems to be signs of Lucy acting like her maternal grandmother Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).
Even though Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and Heather, more Heather than Daniel, raised Lucy the best they could to instill a sense of self-worth, it doesn’t seem to have taken.
Lucy seems to have an almost maniacal need for the acceptance of others, and pushes the envelope to be accepted unconditionally, and doesn’t feel she already is.

Young and the Restless sees Lucy Romalotti’s (Lily Brooks O’Briant) concerning behavior has fans questioning whether the sins of her grandmothers may be the cause. Lucy’s unusual obsession with Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) could be setting the stage for a dramatic plot twist.
Lucy recently declined a family trip to Portugal to be closer to Faith. But this is despite Faith showing no interest in reciprocating. Lucy’s unsettling behavior and relentless pursuit of a friendship with Faith raises eyebrows. And brought attention to her questionable family history on the CBS soap opera.

Her grandmother, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown), is infamous for her criminal activities. Including murder, blackmail, and kidnapping. The following contains spoilers for The Mother, now streaming on Netflix.
Netflix's The Mother follows an unnamed former military operative turned illegal arms broker as she seeks help from the FBI upon learning she's pregnant. However, while being interrogated for information that will bring down her old partners in crime, the safe house that she's in is attacked. Once recovering in the hospital, the FBI convinces her to give up parental rights and go on the run to keep the child safe. Consequently, she complies, and her daughter, Zoe (Lucy Paez), is adopted shortly after birth. The 2022 Emmys ballot for Best Comedy Writing has 195 episode submissions, which means there will be seven nominees. As a reminder, last year’s winner was the pilot of “Hacks”, beating out the pilots of “The Flight Attendant” (Steve Yockey), “Girls5Eva” (Meredith Scardino) and “Ted Lasso”, along with the “PEN15” episode “Play” (Maya Erskine) and the “Ted Lasso”episode “Make Rebecca Great Again”.
Last year, an argument could be made that “Hacks” prevailed due to “Ted Lasso” having two episodes in the category and splitting its own votes. This scenario could repeat as the former only entered its season finale “The One, The Only” by the same three writing champs and “Ted Lasso” submitted both “Rainbow” (Bill Wrubel) and “No Weddings and a Funeral” (Jane Becker).

Don’t go around chasing monsters, because they might be real.
In Victor Mathieu’s directorial debut, The Monster Project is a very creative and scary film presented in the first-person point of view.
It follows a group of aspiring horror filmmakers, eager to raise their YouTube subscriber count, who post an online casting call for “real life” monsters to interview for their documentary. They find three participants and choose to film them sharing their haunted experiences in a mansion in the woods on the night of a lunar eclipse.
The film stars Toby Hemingway, Justin Bruening, Murielle Zuker, Jamal Quezaire, Yvonne Zima, Steven Flores and Shiori Ideta.
Lrm had an exclusive phone interview with Victor Mathieu for The Monster Project. Being a monster lover, he extensively talked about making these creatures come to life and the found footage style of filming in particular with night vision.

The crackling energy that Lethal Weapon scribe Shane Black brought to his two directorial efforts, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and Iron Man 3, have us eagerly anticipating his next film, 1970s-set detective noir The Nice Guys. On top of Black’s involvement, we’re also excited by the fact that Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling have secured the lead roles of two unlikely partners who team up to solve unusual crimes. And today, our anticipation just grew again, with word that the talented Jack Kilmer has joined in a supporting role.
Kilmer, who landed on the map with his gripping performance in Gia Coppola’s Palo Alto, will play Chet, a young film projectionist who is a friend and confidante of Amelia (Margaret Qualley, HBO’s The Leftovers), the missing girl at the film’s center. Gravitas Ventures has dropped a trailer and a poster for its upcoming horror release, "The Last Light." The film takes place after an apocalypse where seven strangers find themselves trapped in a building, struggling to survive as they are hunted by a mysterious creature. Cast members for "The Last Light" include Edward Furlong ("Terminator 2: Judgement Day"), Jeff Fahey ("Planet Terror," "Machete"), Yvonne Zima ("ER") and Ed Quinn ("Eureka"). The superimposition of shots and sound at the beginning of "The Last Light" trailer suggests that the film is, perhaps, a meditation on the tenuous relationship between time and memory. It remains to be seen how far writer/director/producer Andrew Hyatt can dig into this issue before giving up to the more excessive "gore-like" conventions of the horror genre. "The Last Light" will be made available on iTunes and OnDemand starting June 3rd. Check out the poster and trailer below:...

It appears Lifetime has a new film franchise on its hands.
Four months after the premiere of the ludicrous "The Husband She Met Online," the network returned to remind audiences of the dangers of internet dating with the premiere of the equally-bananas "The Girl He Met Online" on Saturday (Feb. 8).

With her bipolar moods known to scare off her beaus, triggering an unparalleled rage once they dump her, she tries to be on better behavior with Andy. Unfortunately, her boss and mom amp up events that lead to the death of Andy's sister, putting Andy in danger himself. And the rest is history.

If there’s one film in Renny Harlin‘s less-than-stellar career that would earn the highest praise, it would be The Long Kiss Goodnight. That praise essentially boils down to “it’s okay, I guess,” but the script by Shane Black undoubtedly lifts the whole thing to a level that makes it better than just about anything else Harlin has made.
That makes his desire to follow the movie up with a sequel somewhat understandable, and he actually seems pretty intent on making it. FilmSchoolRejects recently talked to the director, who said that his experience directing an episode of Burn Notice has led to the film landing a screenwriter, and that is series writer and producer Ben Watkins. He says that Watkins “turned out to be a giant fan of [The Long Kiss Goodnight],” which led to them deciding “to do it together.”

Talk of a sequel to The Long Kiss Goodnight has been openly floating around since at least 2007, and this Summer, Samuel L. Jackson again confirmed that he was up to the task. Jackson claiming to be in development is something that happens twice a day, but I recently spoke with director Renny Harlin for Reject Radio, and he confirmed that he wasn’t just twiddling his thumbs about it. He’s hired a writer to pen the script. “I just came back from Miami where I directed an episode of Burn Notice. I really like that series so I went to go and direct an episode, and the writer of the episode was Ben Watkins who is one of the producers of the show. I’d read quite a bit of his stuff, and he turned out to be a giant fan of [The Long Kiss Goodnight] so we started talking, and we decided we’re going to do it together...

First, he is having a sexual relationship with one of his students. Second, his brother Oliver, who murdered his parents when they were kids because he suspected them of wanting to kill him to collect insurance money, has escaped from prison and will do anything to protect Vincent and prevent his sexual indiscretion from being revealed.
All too often, low budget horror films feel as if they have been thrown together simply to make a quick buck or provide a source of bragging for the filmmakers. They more often than not lack any real heart, originality, or purpose. This makes it all the more refreshing when a low budget,...

Directed by: Malcolm Mowbray
Written by: Andrew Kole, Andrew Delaplaine and Scott Kasdin
Starring: Jeffrey Tambor, Jesse Plemons, Melinda McGraw, Yvonne Zima and William Morgan Sheppard
Described as an affectionate homage to the screwball comedy genre, Malcolm Mowbray’s “Meeting Spencer” is to screwball comedy what fat Elvis impersonators are to the King: a tragic reminder of the worst rather than an admirable tribute to the best.
Jeffrey Tambor plays Harris Chappell, a chastened stage director returned to Broadway following a Hollywood flop. The story centers on Chappell’s comeback play-in-the-making, the plans for which unravel over the course of an evening at Theatre Row hangout Frankie & Johnnie’s. Faced with ever-greater obstacles to success, Chappell and friends become increasingly desperate as they strive to keep their plans afloat.
Key to the success of “Meeting Spencer” is that as the desperation rises, so does the pitch of the comedy.

Aspiring independent filmmakers are the future of horror. “The Absent” is from Sage Bannick. The movie is about two parents who try to kill their son Oscar for insurance money. Oscar kills them. Many years later Vincent (his brother) is a teacher and Oscar is being let out of prison. Vincent is fixing to screw up his entire career and Oscar takes it upon himself to not allow that to happen.
The movie essentially starts off 20 plus years in the past to Oscar and his family. The parents literally want to murder Oscar “by accident” to collect insurance money off of him. Oscar meddling around finds this out when his parents are past due on a lot of their bills. What a pair of conniving parents! Oscar takes matters in to his own hands and gives them breakfast in bed rat poison style. They drop...
