After a homicide, what follows is an investigation—interrogations, witnesses, court trials, and finally a verdict. All the steps taken just to get closer to the truth. An interrogation is merely a dialogue, words extracted from suspects so that the incident can be reenacted in the imagination. At the same time, the veracity is not reliable. Suspects will inadvertently lie to protect themselves, thus uncovering the truth becomes the responsibility of the interrogator. Interrogation by Ajoy Varma Raja is a Tamil film that is exceptionally clever in dissecting a crime. The first half of the film takes a classic whodunnit approach, bringing a Rashomon effect to the key crime: Justice Vishesh Ishkaran Parasar’s murder. Known to be a benevolent figure, Justice Parasar was found dead in his residence of blunt force trauma. We see an unnamed police officer interrogating people who had visited Justice Parasar that night.

Yusuf/Cat Stevens is bringing his long-awaited memoir, Cat on the Road to Findout, on tour. The musician will discuss the project and perform stripped-down songs at intimate live events on the Cat On The Road To Findout—An Evening Of Tales, Tunes, And Other Mysteries book tour. “Having passed through the exhaustingly complex maze of everyday material life, ascending the dizzying heights of wealth, recognition, and artistic achievements, I think I’ve got a few things to share,” Stevens shared in a statement.

Football Parents Season 1 arrives as a fresh, character-driven satire set on the muddy pitches of a Dutch under-13 football club. At its heart is Lilian, a newcomer mother whose aimless cheer meets the ironclad routines of overzealous sideline spectators. Alongside husband Ramadne and son Levi, she navigates a labyrinth of WhatsApp tirades, infantile power struggles and a coach’s mental-health mandate for match days. Crafted by Ilse Warringa—best known for her keen eye on social dynamics—and co-directed with Albert Jan van Rees, the series blends observational humor with authentic glimpses of community life.
In an era when global streaming platforms seek distinctive local voices, Football Parents stakes its claim through cultural specificity: a Surinamese protagonist, a neurodivergent mother-son duo, and subtle nods to faith traditions. These elements resonate against broader shifts toward inclusive casting and narratives that spotlight everyday diversity. The show’s pacing alternates brisk match montages...

Yusuf/Cat Stevens has announced his long-awaited memoir, Cat on the Road to Findout, out this fall.
The memoir, which arrives in the U.K. on Sept. 18 and North America on Oct. 7, chronicles Stevens’ life and career. It begins with his upbringing in the West End of London, where he was born Steven Demetre Georgiou in 1948, and his start as a musician in the Sixties.

Yusuf / Cat Stevens has announced a new memoir titled Cat on the Road to Findout. The book is set to be published in the UK on September 18th via Constable, followed by its North American release on October 7th through Genesis Publications. Pre-orders are ongoing.
In a press release, Cat on the Road to Findout is described as “a backstage pass to the mind of a man who has lived a thousand lives. From his folk troubadour beginnings, to the glamorous chaos of ‘60s pop stardom, to his ‘70s reign as a generational voice, his songs formed a musical odyssey that intricately recorded the journey to self-discovery. Then came his unexpected departure from superstardom, embracing Islam and leaving fans heartbroken.”
The memoir also promises to reveal the “complexity and intellectual reasoning” behind his journey and life lessons for “those seekers, dreamers, and believers, who still love and admire him.”

Yusuf/Cat Stevens, one of the most beloved singer-songwriters of his generation, announced his upcoming memoir Cat on the Road to Find Out on Tuesday. The autobiography is set to release in the U.K. on September 18th through Constable, and in North America on October 7 through Genesis Publications.
Cat on the Road to Find Out chronicles Stevens’ career from his start as a recording artist in the ’60s and subsequent ascent into superstardom by the ’70s off iconic records like “The First Cut is the Deepest” and Tea for the Tillerman. The book will also detail the 1975 near-drowning experience that inspired him to convert to Islam and change his name to Yusuf Islam as he left the music business behind, as well as his steady return since the ’90s. (He released An Other Cup, his first pop album in nearly 30 years in 2006 and has released five more albums since then,...

Ms. Marvel might just be stretching her way back into the MCU spotlight, and not just because her dad got some unexpected superhero screentime! While Kamala Khan herself has been Mia since The Marvels, her proud papa Yusuf Khan made a surprise (and surprisingly heroic) cameo in Daredevil: Born Again episode 5, dodging bullets and getting rescued by none other than Matt Murdock.
Now, with fans buzzing over Yusuf’s sudden MCU glow-up, a Daredevil executive producer has teased that Kamala’s return could be closer than we think. Could this mean Ms. Marvel is about to team up with Hell’s Kitchen’s finest? Or is this just a clever breadcrumb in Marvel’s long game? Either way, it looks like Kamala’s dreams of forming the Young Avengers might still be in play, and we’re totally here for it. Grab your...

A new episode of Daredevil: Born Again is set to stream on Disney+ later tonight, and if you'd like some idea of what to expect without any big reveals, you'll find a spoiler-free preview below.
We won't be sharing any major details about this week's episode, but there will be full spoilers for last Tuesday's double-bill, "With Interest" and "Excessive Force."
Episode 5 took a little break from the main storylines to focus on Matt Murdock foiling a bank robbery and making a new friend in Kamala Khan's father, Yusuf, but episode 6 got us back on track for an eventful instalment that saw Murdock finally don his Daredevil costume again to track down the serial killer known as Muse, who had kidnapped Hector Ayala's niece, Angela del Toro.
As the Man Without Fear and Muse engaged in a savage battle, Mayor Wilson Fisk let out some frustration by taunting and brutally beating Vanessa's lover,...

A little extra cash helped Matt Murdock be a little extra acrobatic in Daredevil: Born Again.
After an X video compilation of Daredevil's Disney+ appearances felt "more agile" compared to the original Daredevil, showrunner Steven DeKnight chalked that up to the limitations of the Netflix show's budget. "It’s purely a financial issue. On the Netflix show, we didn't have the money to do this. If we had, we would have," he wrote. In another post, DeKnight established that "in no way, shape, or form were my comments regarding Daredevil a knock against Netflix. It was merely explaining that I would have used CGI to enhance the fights like in Born Again if the budget had been larger."

Some seven years after Netflix’s acclaimed Daredevil series was unceremoniously axed, the Man Without Fear is back and making himself at home in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While Daredevil and the rest of the Defender-centric shows lived in their own MCU purgatory, Marvel Studios is finally free to do what it wants with its street-level heroes and villains. With it, Daredevil: Born Again has already planted itself firmly in the MCU with nods to the wider world.
Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock already stopped by for brief cameos in Echo, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, and Spider-Man: No Way Home, while Vincent D’Onforio’s Wilson Fisk/Kingpin survived a run-in with a bullet in Hawkeye and popped up in the Echo miniseries, too. Despite D’Onofrio repeatedly saying Kingpin won’t be the big bad of the upcoming Spider-Man 4, and no Born Again cast members appeared in that achingly long Avengers: Doomsday roll call,...

The following contains spoilers for Daredevil: Born Again, Season 1, Episode 5, "With Interest," now streaming on Disney+.
On St. Patrick's Day, Matt Murdock goes to the bank for a loan, meeting Kamala Khan's father. Yusuf is the assistant manager at the bank, who denied Matt's request. He leaves, but later returns to the bank when he hears a group of robbers taking the customers and employees hostage.
Even though he has't worn the familiar red suit since the first episode, audiences see Matt Murdock become Daredevil to stop the criminals and save the hostages. While the self-contained nature of the story is unique, what makes Episode 5, "With Interest," great seems incongruous with good storytelling.

The following contains spoilers for Daredevil: Born Again, Season 1, Episode 5, now streaming on Disney+.
MCU fans' biggest fear ahead of Daredevil: Born Again was that the series wouldn't be as dark as its Netflix predecessor. Their fears were ultimately unfounded, with the new Disney+ series delivering a story that has thus far been every bit as dark and brutal as Netflix's Daredevil. However, Episode 5 proves the series can change its tone without doing any harm to the quality of storytelling. Episode 5 follows Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock and Mohan Kapur's Yusuf Khan, who made his MCU debut in Ms. Marvel, as the two work together to overcome a group of armed robbers at the bank where Yusuf works.
Though the episode features life-or-death stakes, it is notably lighter in tone than other installments of Born Again. While the series has so far spent time exploring courtroom drama and the...

Daredevil: Born Again just gave Matt Murdock his latest and most unexpected Marvel crossover, but in a way that still fits the show's tone.
Speaking with Phase Hero host Brandon Davis, episode director Jeff Nachmanoff revealed what it was like pairing Murdock with Ms. Marvel patriarch Yusuf Khan in a bottle episode that forces them to thwart a bank robbery on St. Patrick's Day. According to Nachmanoff, credit goes to executive producer Sana Amanat, who co-created Kamala Khan and produced the Disney+ adaptation featuring Mohan Kapur as Kamala's father, adding that Amanat "helped me understand what Yusuf's background was and the tone of that other show was much lighter and much more comedic."
Amanat added, "So it was... how do we make that work?Daredevil is about as dark as you go in Marvel and I'd say Ms.

Depending who you ask, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) is always in the right place at the right time, or the wrong place at the wrong time. “Daredevil: Born Again” sends our allegedly retired hero into the thick of a bank robbery — one that he had just narrowly escaped before diving back into the fray.
Because as much as he wants to protect himself, his loved ones, and the city he calls home, those aren’t the real reasons why he can never fully give up Daredevil; the fact is, he can’t stay away.
Episode 5, “With Interest,” directed by Jeffrey Nachmanoff and written by Grainne Godfree, is bookended by scenes of Matt and Yusuf Khan (Mohan Kapur), a nice little crossover with Daredevil’s neighbor across the river, “Ms. Marvel.” Matt is looking for a loan for his firm, and while Yusuf can’t approve it, he can’t help but like the guy.

Daredevil: Born Again's fifth episode, "With Interest," was directed by Jeffrey Nachmanoff and has proven to be surprisingly divisive since hitting Disney+ yesterday evening.
The filmmaker also helmed last week's "Sic Semper Systema," but this bottle episode - a largely standalone instalment of a series typically filmed in a single location, often with a minimal cast - seems to either be drawing rave reviews or harsh criticisms.
Talking to Phase Hero, Nachmanoff reflected on shooting Matt Murdock's team-up with Ms. Marvel's father, Yusuf Khan, and confirmed that "With Interest" is the only episode of Daredevil: Born Again not to have been tinkered with during the creative overhaul.
"This episode is the only completely untouched episode, I believe, from the original version of the show before we went back and reworked it," he explained. "You can feel that. It has that bottle episode feel because it's just Matt for the most part.

The 4th episode of Daredevil: Born Again saw the return of Jon Bernthal’s iteration of Punisher. After failing to keep his client, Leroy Bradford, out of jail, Matt Murdock decided to confront Frank Castle for his alleged involvement in the murder of Hector Ayala. Of course, Castle hadn’t killed Ayala, but Murdock wanted Castle to understand that his brand of vigilantism and violence was inspiring the wrong crowd, i.e., New York’s “finest.” Meanwhile, Castle wanted Murdock to accept that he had failed Foggy Nelson; he wasn’t happy that Benjamin Poindexter had gotten life imprisonment, and he was raring to cross some lines in order to ensure true justice was served. While these two screamed at each other for a bit, it was revealed that Wilson Fisk had Adam—the guy that Vanessa had an affair with—imprisoned in his personal art museum and was punishing...

Who would have thought that Matt "Daredevil" Murdock (Charlie Cox) would ever team up with Yusuf Khan (Mohan Kapur), Kamala "Ms. Marvel" Khan's (Iman Vellani) dad -- let alone foil a dangerous bank robbery with the guy? Surprising or not, this is exactly what happens in "Daredevil: Born Again" season 1, episode 5. It all begins when we see Matt face an enemy neither lawyers nor superheroes can readily defeat: An unsymphathetic bank official. Well, "unsympathetic" in the sense that he's reluctant to give Matt's law office a loan, which seems to be par for the course for Marvel Cinematic Universe heroes. After all, if Sam "world-saving Avenger and future Captain America" Wilson (Anthony Mackie) himself struggled to get a business loan on "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier," what chance would a mere grassroots lawyer from Hell's Kitchen have?

Marvel has been slowly but steadily lining up potential members of the Young Avengers, and finally gave it a near explicit mention in “The Marvels.” Now, thanks to the latest episode of “Daredevil: Born Again,” we might have gotten a new update.
In the fifth episode of the season, now streaming on Disney+, we get a surprise appearance from Yusuf Khan (Mohan Kapoor), as the assistant manager of the bank that Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) is hoping to get a loan from. As they chat, Yusuf boasts about his daughter Kamala Khan, better known to some as Ms. Marvel.
In that conversation, Yusuf mentions that Kamala isn’t in Jersey City right now because she’s off in Los Angeles with her friends. It’s a quick aside, and Yusuf even admits he doesn’t know what she’s doing out there. But fans might.

Daredevil: Born Again's fifth episode, "With Interest," sees Matt Murdock get caught up in stopping a bank robbery. However, with no superhero suit at his disposal and a secret identity to protect, the Man Without Fear has the odds stacked against him.
Helping matters is the fact he finds an unexpected ally in Yusuf Khan, Kamala Khan's father. Yes, after his visit to outer space in The Marvels, Ms. Marvel's dad is back to working in the bank and sadly unable to give Matt the funding he and Kirsten McDuffie's law firm needs.

“Daredevil: Born Again” marks the official entrance into the Marvel Cinematic Universe for most of the characters in the show — save for Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock, who first appeared via “Spider-Man: No Way Home” and then again in “She-Hulk,” and Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk, who appeared in “Hawkeye” and “Echo.”
The original Netflix series was technically set within the larger MCU, but rarely even indulged in references and kept mainly to its own corner of street-level heroes. Up until this point, “Born Again” has followed suit and hasn’t featured any major crossovers with the MCU at large, aside from a couple of references here and there.
Well, that changed with Episode 5, but if you haven’t kept up with the other Marvel shows on Disney+, you might be a little confused about how.

Daredevil: Born Again has been something of a slow burn. Sure, it opened with a shocker of a premiere episode, destroying the world that audiences fell in love with on the Netflix series, but it has spent its time trying to put the pieces of that world back together. The fourth episode took it some steps closer to that, as Matt Murdock reunited with his old frenemy Frank Castle, a.k.a. The Punisher, for a vicious catch-up.
The two vigilantes had a conversation that felt like it had been ripped straight from the Netflix series, setting the stage for Matt's eventual return to heroics. He's not quite there yet, but all it takes is one more push - and that's something that the pretty unique fifth episode of the series seems committed to showcasing.

The fifth episode of Daredevil: Born Again might not be the most over-the-top or flashy episode of the season, but it was one of the most fun episodes of the season – one which allowed us to see Matt using his abilities to save the day in an unexpected way that didn’t require him to suit up as Daredevil. It also didn’t hurt that the episode featured a fun and unexpected cameo as well a major update on a cancelled Marvel movie rumored to have since been turned into a series.
Before diving into the spoilers, let this serve as a warning that spoilers are coming for the fifth episode of Daredevil: Born Again.
Early in the episode, Matt heads out to the bank in hopes of securing a loan for his firm, which is struggling a bit lately thanks to Matt’s bleeding heart and desire to take...

Since launching on Disney+, Daredevil: Born Again has been serving up some truly unexpected and fun MCU Easter eggs that have made watching the new series even more fun for die-hard Marvel fans.
Right out of the gate in the two-episode premiere, Fisk not-so-casually named-dropped one of Marvel’s biggest heroes when he alluded to New Yorkers not needing a man who dresses in a spider outfit in a clear reference to Spider-Man. In that same episode, he also referred to The Punisher, who officially made his debut in the MCU episodes later when Jon Bernthal reprised his role as Frank Castle in the show’s fourth episode.
Then there was the show’s funny nod to the Skrulls which acknowledged the events of Secret Invasion finally, and there was also the unexpected name-dropping of Miles Morales’ father, Officer Morales. Needless to say, the writers have been taking full advantage...

This article contains spoilers for Daredevil: Born Again Episodes 5 & 6.
Daredevil: Born Again just broke from convention and dropped two new episodes on Disney+. While previous live-action MCU series have had two episode premieres, including Daredevil: Born Again, and some, like Agatha All Along, aired two-episode finales, none have aired two episodes back to back in the middle of the run. The fifth episode hinted at a potential MCU team-up that nobody could have expected: Daredevil and Ms. Marvel.
Daredevil is no stranger to teaming up with other heroes, as Matt Murdock previously joined Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist in The Defenders, and this season of Daredevil: Born Again has already shown Matt Murdock reuniting with Frank Castle / The Punisher. Fans even hope to see Daredevil and Spider-Man share the screen after their alter egos were seen together in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Matt Murdock even appeared in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law,...

Marvel’s upcoming series, Daredevil: Born Again, is set to enrich its narrative by integrating elements of light-heartedness and drama through the inclusion of Yusuf Khan, portrayed by Mohan Kapur. Yusuf, known from Ms. Marvel as Kamala Khan’s father, steps into Matt Murdock’s world, adding a unique blend of comedic and serious tones to the series.
Marvel Studios executive Sana Amanat shared insights about Yusuf’s role in the series. “It was such a fun challenge, I have to say. I was laughing a lot because I do think that’s the most McU-aspect of a cameo like that is that we brought some of that comedic energy that the MCU is known for with Yusuf Khan.
The challenge is we’re not living in the Ms. Marvel world or corner. We’re living in the Daredevil corner, so just making sure that the tone compliments Matt Murdock.

More than 1,000 artists — including Damon Albarn, Kate Bush, and Annie Lennox — have released a silent album in protest of the UK government’s proposed changes to copyright law, allowing AI companies to train their models using copyrighted work without a license.
Titled Is This What We Want? the project contains recordings of empty studios and performance spaces, which represent the “impact we expect the government’s proposals would have on musicians’ livelihoods.” It consists of 12 tracks, which spell out a message that reads, “The British government must not legalise music theft to benefit AI companies.”
Other artists credited on the album include Ed O’Brien of Radiohead, The Clash, Tori Amos, Hans Zimmer, Pet Shop Boys, Jamiroquai, and Yusuf / Cat Stevens. All proceeds are being donated to the UK charity Help Musicians.

With Bong Joon-ho, Na Hong-jin, Pak Chan-wook, Takashi Miike, Park Hoon-jung having new movies in 2025, the year is already shaping up to be a great one, perhaps even signaling some sort of come-back for Korean cinema. At the same time, the directorial debut of Shu Qi, the return of Bi Gan and Edwin, and a number of rather interesting anime movies have us all excited here in Amp. Without further ado, here is a countdown of 35 films that are easily described as much anticipated, in random order.
1. All Before You by Annemarie Jacir (Palestine)
Yusuf spends his days moving between his farming village, Al Basma, and his work in the city of Jerusalem, enthusiastically working to find his place in the changing, modern world. Amid the announcement of Christopher Nolan's next magnum opus, an adaptation of Homer's The Odyssey starring Matt Damon, Zendaya, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong'o, Robert Pattinson, and Charlize Theron, two of his most talked-about movies made their way to Netflix. On January 1, the streaming platform added Inception and Interstellar to its streaming library, a nice little New Year's gift for its subscribers as 2025 rolled in.
Starring Leonardo DiCaprio as professional dream thief Dom Cobb, Inception was what the internet liked to call a complete mind-fuck when it first came out in 2010. For many viewers, it did not make a lot of sense up until a second or third watch, yours truly along them. But several five-star reviews, millions at the box office, and eight Oscar nominations later, it became evident that Nolan had broken new ground in Hollywood.

Uzak Movie Review: Nuri Bilge Ceylan’s Poetic Study of Loneliness and Nihilism in the Modern Society
“Loneliness has followed me my whole life, everywhere. In bars, in cars, on sidewalks, in stores—everywhere. There’s no escape. I’m God’s lonely man.” These are the words of Travis Bickle from Scorsese’s “Taxi Driver.” They also resonate deeply with the two central characters in Nuri Bilge Ceylan’s “Uzak”. While Travis, an insomniac loner who struggles with relationships and human interactions, turns to violence as a last resort to assert his existence, the characters in “Uzak” are so consumed by their loneliness that they refuse even to acknowledge it. As a result, they become apathetic, resentful, and even nihilistic, placing disproportionate value on fleeting pleasures like smoking, watching pornography, or aimlessly wandering, rather than attempting to form meaningful human connections.
“Uzak” tells the story of two pivotal characters: Yusuf, an illiterate and shy villager who moves to Istanbul to find work in a dockyard, and Mahmut,...

Inception’s simply shocking ending explained ( Photo Credit – Prime Video )
It’s been over a decade since Inception hit screens, but the movie’s final shot still haunts us. That heart-numbing moment—Cobb’s spinning top—lingered in our minds long after the credits rolled. Did it topple? Was it real? Or were we trapped in a dream like Cobb himself? The debates raged, with viewers lighting up metaphorical cigarettes and diving deep into every frame for answers.
First, let’s get into the nitty-gritty. The Inception final act starts with Cobb and his crew navigating the layered dreamscape crafted by their chemist, Yusuf. The mission? Plant an idea in Fisher’s head to dismantle his father’s empire, all while avoiding the projection of Cobb’s deceased wife, Mal. As if that weren’t enough, Mal shows up, and chaos ensues—Fisher gets shot, and the team has to...

Welcome to Plathville star Moriah Plath has a penchant for bad boys that isn't so good for her, and she had painful breakups with Matthew Craven and Max Kallschmidt, but the first "cut" was the deepest. When Max broke Moriah's heart, she wasn't used to that kind of pain. She trusted Max (who didn't seem like a bad boy) completely. He was so clean-cut, so seemingly devoted. Max was someone who was actually accepted by his parents. In the end, despite his wholesome image, he cheated on her, leaving her sad and hopeless. Then, she tried, as Yusef (Cat) sang:
to love again.
Moriah met Max in 2020, during Welcome To Plathville season 2. Moriah was wildly in love with her partner and planning a future with him. She believed that she was finding herself through the romance. The way that...

Set amongst Yorkshire’s rugged hill country, Jack King’s premiere feature, The Ceremony, tells a gripping story of two men thrust together by tragic circumstances. Cristi and Yusuf toil washing cars in Bradford as undocumented workers, trying to shield their troubled pasts. But after one of their coworkers dies under unclear circumstances, they are forced to embark on a fateful journey across the challenging terrain of the Dales.
The pair couldn’t be more different—Cristi hails from Romania while the taciturn Yusuf is Kurdish. Their chance discovery of a body belonging to another immigrant employee leaves them with a terrible choice: involve the authorities and risk exposing their illegal status, or take matters into their own hands. Agreeing to dispose of the remains themselves, tensions quickly flare as the isolated moorland pulls long-buried personal demons to the surface.

Christopher Nolans Inception takes place in at least four different dream levels, all of which have their own dreamer, layout, and time dilatation factor. While Inceptions ending has dominated the conversation around the movie for over a decade, the film has a complex enough story even without considering the mystery of whether the top stopped spinning. The best way to understand Inceptions dream levels is to assume that what Cobb perceives as reality is indeed real, at least initially.
Cobb had to perform an inception in Robert Fischer, meaning Leonardo Dicaprios character had to get deep enough into the targets subconscious and plant an idea that would grow like a virus. Fischers mind could not track down the origin of the idea, which is why they would need at least three levels to complete the mission. The Christopher Nolan movie establishes a series of rules regarding how each level works,...

The BBC has in recent years promoted its “Verify” service in which a special unit acts speedily to support or debunk claims made by guests, often political, on live TV and radio.
However, The Spectator magazine reports on an awkward moment recently when it was required to verify… itself, during a heated discussion on the current affairs panel show Question Time.
Thursday evening saw Reform party chairman Zia Yusuf attack the number of asylum seekers arriving into Britain after it emerged that the Foreign Office has spent more than £4 billion on support for refugees and asylum seekers.

Jumai Yusuf’s feature debut Cocoa Doll is being launched to international buyers at the Toronto Film Festival this week.
Co-producers and sales agents The Dazey Phase and Unger Media are shopping the horror pic about, Nora, a young Black woman who takes a caregiving job for the McNeils, a rich white family, only to discover they’re hiding a deadly secret.
Cocoa Doll was earlier selected for the Black List’s Muslim List. Yusuf wrote and and is set to direct the indie, which was inspired by caricatures of Black people from the Jim Crow era not lost to history.
“When I set out to write a horror film, I knew I had to tap into the things that truly haunt me. Cocoa Doll is my way of reminding people that Jim Crow isn’t some distant past. It’s a horrifyingly recent chapter of American history,” Yusuf said in a statement.

Daredevil: Born Again's New Footage Makes The McU's Next Young Avengers Update Seem Closer Than Ever
Daredevil: Born Again will connect the Marvel hero with other MCU street-level characters like Punisher and Bullseye. Ms. Marvel's father, Yusuf, has been shown in Daredevil: Born Again preview footage. Yusuf Khan's role in the series can provide insight into Ms. Marvel's future, which is especially key given her last appearance saw her building a new team that appears to be the Young Avengers.
Footage from Daredevil: Born Again was shown at the D23 Expo, and it included a surprising connection to another MCU hero. The McU's upcoming Daredevil series will be important in establishing many street-level characters. It brings back many of New York's famous heroes and villains, like Punisher and Bullseye, but it will also introduce new ones, including the McU's Muse and White Tiger. It will also build on the war between Kingpin and Daredevil, but the footage teases a possible alliance between the two rivals.
