    • Wah Yuen was born on September 2, 1950 in Hong Kong, China. He is an actor, known for Crazy Kung-Fu (2004), Shang-Chi et la Légende des Dix Anneaux (2021) and La Fureur du dragon (1972).

Trivia

  • According to Jackie Chan's autobiography, Yuen Wah is an accomplished martial artist who possesses a skill to mimic and emulate any technique of martial arts with which he is presented.
  • He was Bruce Lee's stand in for La Fureur de vaincre (1972) because they had a similar body type and he was able to copy Bruce Lee's style.
  • In his autobiography "I am Jackie Chan" Chan related a story from his youth where he and his fellow Peking Opera Students (including Yuen Wah) were forced to do hand stands for hours on end. One time they were doing them and then the master yelled "Stop!" and all the boys dropped to the ground, except Yuen Wah. The teacher and students went over to see why and found he had fallen asleep, while maintaining a perfect hand stand.
  • Alongside Lam Ching-Ying and Tung Wai, Yuen Wah is one of the few HK Stuntman to have been initiated to Jeet Kune Do by Bruce Lee.
  • Besides Jeet Kune Do, Yuen Wah is well versed in Wu Shu, Hung Gar, Hapkido and Tae Kwon Do.
