Review: ‘Moscow Never Sleeps’ Draws a Meticulous Dramatic Tapestry in Russia
Writer/director Johnny O’Reilly found himself in Russia during college and decided to stay despite Hollywood opportunities after releasing his debut narrative feature The Weather Station. Some will die by the end and others will discover what it means to live. Some will free themselves from shackles (physical and mental) while others discover they simply aren’t yet able to escape.

Russia is set to bring us a Zombie Fever
A zombie horror comedy....Yeah we’ve sure seen that before...but not methinks from Russia? Other than the film is directed by Kirill Kemnits and stars Julia Volkova, Mikhail Efremov, we don’t know a whole lot more about it yet, but we’ll consider that enough to say the stage is set, now onto the trailer featuring and a ragtag bunch of misfits - and babes with machine guns - raining down death on un-dead hordes. That we can understand in any language. Synopsis: When a meteor crashes ruining a wild beach party infecting everyone with the “Zombie Fever”... the dead start walking the Earth. A special-forces veteran joins a group of misfits in an apocalyptic fight for liberty, justice and the “Mother of all Zombie Wars”. Based on almost true events... this epic saga will prove that Love is more powerful than Fear and the game of Killing Zombies is Awesome!

You all remember this title, right? But we are here today to talk about Burnt by the Sun 2, or, a sequel to well known Nikita Mikhalkov’s 1994 film.

Burnt By The Sun 2: Exodus

This Russian drama film is scheduled to compete for the Golden Palm at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival.

It’s a World War II epic with a budget of 55 million dollars, which makes it the most expensive Russian film ever since Soviet times! The sequel was divided into 2 parts: Burnt by the Sun 2: Exodus and Burnt by the Sun 3: The Citadel.

So, the film is about an aged professor and his wife, the pre-revolutionary intellectuals, and of a military leader, the hero of the Bolshevik revolution and Civil War, as well of his young wife and charming little daughter. There is also a family friend-turned traitor and executioner of the family.

A summer day of 1936 begins carelessly and calmly,...
