Mary Beth Yarrow

Mary Beth Yarrow Mary Beth (McCarthy) Yarrow hails from Willmar, Minnesota, and began her professional producing career in 1980 with the documentary, The Willmar 8. The story of eight women bookkeepers and tellers, they formed a union and walked off their jobs at The Citizens National Bank, creating the first bank strike in the history of America. This was followed by a string of television productions for HBO, NBC, CBS, Lifetime Channel and American Masters, as well as a documentary film for RTE and BBC/NI about the life, work, and legacy of the controversial Irish dramatist, Sean O'Casey. Gene McCarthy: In the Land of the Aardvarks is scheduled for completion in December, 2017.
