Martin Yan is a world-renowned chef, restaurateur, author, and television personality. He is most famous for his pioneering role in popularizing Chinese and Asian cuisine to a Western audience through his highly energetic and engaging cooking shows. Since 1982, Martin Yan has hosted the award-winning PBS-TV cooking show Yan Can Cook. He's hosted over 3,500 episodes, and his shows have been broadcast in over 50 countries. His signature catchphrase, "If Yan can cook, so can you!" became famous worldwide. He's known for his incredible knife skills (like deboning a chicken in 18 seconds) and lively, humorous presentation style.
