    • Elin Wägner was born on May 16, 1882 in Lund, Sweden. She was a writer and actress, known for Hon fick platsen (1911), Ungdom (1927) and Efterlyst (1939). She was married to John Landquist. She died on January 7, 1949 in Lund, Skåne län, Sweden.

  • For the newspaper Dagens Nyheter, she wrote under the name Devinez.
  • Swedish author, journalist, feminist philosopher and debater. Her writing often dealt with working women and with women's suffrage. She was planning to write a biography of novelist/reformer Fredrika Bremer when she passed away in 1949.
  • Elin's husband, John Landquist (1881-1974), was a literary critic and professor of pedagogy and psychology in Lund. After they separated, in 1938 he married Solveig Landquist (b. 1910), who published the book _Den Goda Viljan: Ett Liv Med John Landquist_ (A good will: a life with John Landquist).
