Elin Matilda Elisabeth Wägner

For the newspaper Dagens Nyheter, she wrote under the name Devinez.

Swedish author, journalist, feminist philosopher and debater. Her writing often dealt with working women and with women's suffrage. She was planning to write a biography of novelist/reformer Fredrika Bremer when she passed away in 1949.

Elin's husband, John Landquist (1881-1974), was a literary critic and professor of pedagogy and psychology in Lund. After they separated, in 1938 he married Solveig Landquist (b. 1910), who published the book _Den Goda Viljan: Ett Liv Med John Landquist_ (A good will: a life with John Landquist).
