The series is based on Lee Child's Jack Reacher anthology series, and follows its titular protagonist, an elite ex-military police major, as he travels across the U.S., exposing conspiracies, corruption, and trafficking. Many cast members changed from one season to the other, and Reacher Season 4 has recently announced new additions. However, shortly after the cast reveal, Deadline reports Jay Baruchel has been recast, and Christopher Rodriguez-Marquette will take over.

How to Train Your Dragon's Jay Baruchel had been originally cast as Jacob Merrick, a small-town policeman. However, he was reportedly "forced to exit" the production shortly after he was cast to "attend to a personal matter." Instead, Barry star Christopher Rodriguez-Marquette will take over the role.

It's official: Neagley has wrapped production on its first season. The filming update was given by series lead Maria Sten, who is reprising her role from Reacher as Frances Neagley.

Sten revealed that filming had wrapped on the Reacher spinoff over the past weekend with a post on Instagram. Alongside a bloody behind-the-scenes photo, which suggests that Neagley will find herself part of more than one intense fight in the spinoff, Sten wrote the following: "that’s a wrap on [Neagley] season 1! this story is so so special, folks. Whilst Sgt. Frances Neagley has a less prominent part to play in Lee Child's Jack Reacher books, the character — a security expert and former 110th Special Investigations Unit compadre of Alan Ritchson's man-mountain Jack Reacher — has been pivotal to the show.

The Reacher universe has now begun, as Prime Video announces the first spinoff from its hugely successful action series. As per a report by Deadline, the spinoff is now being fast-tracked and will center on the fan-favorite character Frances Neagley, played by Maria Sten, who was introduced in the first season. A corporate security professional who served with Reacher in the Armys 110th Special Investigations Unit, Neagley will reportedly join forces with Alan Ritchsons behemoth avenger in the spinoff, with the Reacher lead set to appear as a guest star.

A Reacher spinoff centered on a fan favorite character is in development at Prime Video, as the streamer seeks to turn the popular action series into a franchise. Based on the Jack Reacher book series by Lee Child, each season follows its titular character investigating a new conspiracy, going head-to-head with people trying to harm him and others he cares about. The show has been a major success for Prime Video, with season 2 becoming its Number 1 title worldwide upon premiere. Reacher season 3 wrapped filming in July 2024, based on Child's seventh book in the series, Persuader.

According to Deadline, a spinoff titled Neagley is in development with the streaming service, following Reacher's former military partner and current investigative assistant Frances Neagley. The show would see Maria Stern reprise her role as the security expert, with Reacher showrunner Nick Santora teaming up with Nicholas Wootton (Prison Break) to co-run the spinoff.

Prime Video is looking to make an even bigger deal out of one of its biggest hits.

The streamer reportedly is fast-tracking a potential Reacher spinoff, centered around a fellow member of the title character’s former Army unit, the 110th MP Special Investigations Unit — Frances Neagley.

NBC drama “The Endgame” starring Morena Baccarin and Ryan Michelle Bathé has been canceled after one season, Variety has learned.

Described as “a pulse-pounding high-stakes two-hander,” the series follows Elena Federova (Baccarin), a recently captured international arms dealer and brilliant criminal mastermind who orchestrates a number of coordinated bank heists throughout New York City for a mysterious purpose. Her antagonist is Val Turner (Bathé), the principled, relentless and socially outcast FBI agent who will stop at nothing to foil her ambitious plan. The heist drama ”reveals how far some people will go for love, justice and the most valuable commodity in the world: the truth,” per NBC.

Along with Baccarin and Bathé,” The Endgame” stars Costa Ronin, Jordan Johnson-Hinds, Kamal Bolden, Noah Bean and Mark Damon Espinoza.

What is The Endgame for the enigmatic and clearly brilliant Elena Federova?

Thus far on NBC’s freshman mystery-thriller airing Mondays at 10/9c), Morena Baccarin‘s criminal mastermind has vexed FBI Agent Val Turner (played by First Wives Club‘s Ryan Michelle Bathé) and her G-man colleagues, as well as those of us watching at home. To date, Elena has orchestrated the robbing or hijacking of no fewer than seven New York City banks (in keeping with some “Snow White” theme) — and exposed the secrets of some government stooges along the way — all whilst calmly cooling her heels in a cell in Queens’ Fort Totten.

Spoiler Alert: Do not read if you have not watched “Fairytale Wedding,” the Feb. 28 episode of NBC’s “The Endgame.”

NBC’s new high-octane crime drama “The Endgame” aired its second episode Monday, revealing many more compelling details about its leading ladies — Morena Baccarin’s international arms dealer/crime boss Elena Federova and Ryan Michelle Bathé’s FBI agent Val Turner — than it did in its week-ago series premiere.

In the episode, “Fairytale Wedding,” we saw the titular nuptials go up in flames when the church where Elena and her now-husband Sergey Vodianov (Costa Ronin) were to be wed was blown up with everyone they loved inside. This was our first peek into Elena’s life with Sergey, who is currently presumed dead by Val and the rest of the world — but is actually in an upstate New York prison with Val’s husband, Owen (Kamal Bolden).
