Disney+ has shared an Instagram post featuring both Walker Scobell and Logan Lerman. Scobell plays Percy Jackson in the show Percy Jackson and the Olympians, which Lerman played the character in the original 2010s movies. There is no word as to whether the photoshoot has anything to do with the upcoming Percy Jackson season 2.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians' Percy has united with an original cast member from the movies. The new Disney+ show, which premiered in December 2023 and has been renewed for season 2, is adapted from the Rick Riordan book series of the same name and stars Walker Scobell as Poseidon's son Percy, Leah Sava Jeffries as Athena's daughter Annabeth, and Aryan Simhadri as the satyr Grover. Previously, the novels were adapted into two movies, The Lightning Thief in 2010 and Sea of Monsters in 2013, starring Logan Lerman as Percy, Alexandra Daddario as Annabeth, and Brandon T. Jackson as Grover.
