    • Jay Woelfel was born on July 24, 1962 in Columbus, Ohio, USA. He is a composer and editor, known for Iron Thunder (1998), Closed for the Season (2010) and Live Evil (2009). He has been married to Kristy Woelfel since October 30, 2010.

Trivia

  • While making the short film Beyond Dream's Door (1983), Woelfel established lifelong relationships with the two stars, Rick Kesler and Nick Baldasare. The actors went on to appear in many of his other films, including the 1989 feature-length remake, and at Woelfel's 2010 wedding, Baldasare was his best man and Kesler officiated the ceremony.
  • His family built and owns the infamous Pink House, a flamingo-pink Victorian mansion in Wellsville, New York. He shot the short film Come to Me Softly (1988) there, providing a rare glimpse at the interior. His parents, Julian and Marcile Woelfel, co-authored a 2018 book about the house and the family's history with William A Paquette.
