Kelley Wolf Apparently Detained Against Her Will, Accuses Scott Wolf of Abuse After Split (Audio)
Kelley Wolf
Days after her split from longtime husband Scott Wolf was announced, it appears Kelley Wolf has been taken into police custody. In a disturbing audio file shared on her Instagram feed on Friday (June 13), she appears to be detained against her will and accuses her now-estranged husband of “abuse.” “You had every opportunity to be reasonable,” a male voice says in the audial footage. “Don’t. Don’t. Oh, my God, this is not happening,” she can be overheard saying, as the sound of handcuffs clinking can be heard in the background. “Fine. I’ll go. I’ll go on my own, please. I’ll go on my own. Wow. This is shameful, gentlemen, look at this. Look at this woman. This is shameful. Be ashamed. Be ashamed of yourselves, gentlemen.” “I know what I’m doing. I’ve done this. ‘Doc’ Season 2 Adds a ‘Desperate Housewives’ Star
Image
Days before Fox’s hit medical drama Doc ended its first run on Tuesday, March 18, it was renewed for a second season, which still has no premiere date. Felicity Huffman Joins ‘Doc’ Season 2 as Series Regular
Image
Felicity Huffman is joining the cast of “Doc” for Season 2. The actress joins the cast a Dr. Amy Larsen’s (Molly Parker) former med school professor Dr. Joan Ridley, a new addition to the hospital staff.

“Double-boarded in internal medicine and surgery, she’s the kind of doctor who never has to raise her voice,” reads a description for the new character. “Incredibly charming and charismatic with a wicked sense of humor that masks her ferocious ambition. She proudly describes herself as an ‘old-school broad.’ She drinks whiskey, smokes the occasional Marlboro red, and treats herself to solo steak dinners. Joan was Dr. Amy Larsen’s med school professor and early mentor — and Amy was her standout student. Their dynamic is layered, charged and deeply rooted in mutual respect, with just enough friction to keep it honest which is why Michael offers her the open Chief of Internal Medicine job at Westside.

That shocking ‘The Last of Us’ death, final seasons for ‘The Boys’ and ‘Cobra Kai,’ and more from Sony TV actors and showrunners
Image
Few TV deaths have been as shocking as the one suffered by Pedro Pascal on The Last of Us. Anyone who has played the PlayStation video game from which the show is adapted knew that Pascal's character, Joel Miller, was doomed from the start, yet his demise midway through Season 2 still came as a surprise. And as game creator and series cocreator Neil Druckmann revealed during a recent FYC event for Sony Television some higher-ups were desperate to keep it from happening for as long as possible.

As Druckmann recalled, he had a conversation with Casey Bloys, CEO of HBO, who said, "I just got off the call with this agent, and he yelled at me: 'Why didn't you offer those guys millions of dollars to not kill Pedro?'" Bloys, to his credit, said, "A deal's a deal. We have to adapt the material." This was the first time that Craig Mazin,...

Molly Parker in Doc (2025)
Fox’s Doc Ups Patrick Walker, Charlotte Fountain-Jardim Ahead of Sizeable Season 2
Molly Parker in Doc (2025)
Fox’s freshman hit Doc has promoted Patrick Walker and Charlotte Fountain-Jardim from recurring players to series regulars for the drama’s second season, which begins filming this summer ahead of a fall launch on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. Et/Pt. Their elevation accompanies the network’s rare 22-episode pickup, announced in February after the premiere drew more than 16 million cross-platform viewers—Fox’s largest debut in five years.

Walker returns as Dr. “Tj” Coleman, a first-year resident whose childhood in-flight medical emergency bound him to Dr. Amy Larsen, while Fountain-Jardim reprises Katie Hamda, Amy’s ambitious daughter now eyeing medical school. Showrunner Barbie Kligman said she “loves that relationship, that history, all of it,” promising deeper exploration of the pair’s dynamic as Amy continues to piece together the eight years erased by her traumatic brain injury.

Amy (Molly Parker) may have faced a demotion following the car accident that took eight years of her memory (including her medical knowledge), but Doc Season 2 is giving out promotions. Patrick Walker (Dr. Tj Coleman) and Charlotte Fountain-Jardim (Amy’s daughter Katie) have been upped to series regulars, TV Insider has learned. Season 2, airing this fall, will consist of 22 episodes (after the freshman run had 10). Has Hollywood Run Out of New Ideas? Not Every ’90s Show Needs To Be Rebooted
Image
Hollywood seems to have run out of fresh ideas, and we’re living in an era when every classic show is rebooted or revived.

I loved the 1980s and 1990s television shows, but did not want to see everyone rebooted. Some were classics for a reason, and others ran long enough in their prime.

On Monday, Variety announced that a 7th Heaven reboot is in early development. Why? While I loved the first several seasons, it’s a prime example of a series that ran too long and does not need to return.

(The WB/Screenshot)

7th Heaven ran for 11 seasons on The WB and The CW and followed the Camden family.

It was a family favorite back then as it explored how Rev. Eric Camden and his wife dealt with their many children.

While it leaned Christian, it wasn’t overly preachy, and featured some of the best sibling relationships on television.

The series, Memory of a Killer, has officially been ordered, in an announcement from President of Fox Television Network, Michael Thorn. ‘Party of Five’s Scott Wolf Reflects on How TV Guide Magazine Cover ‘Moved the Needle’ (Video)
Image
Scott Wolf has played quite a few characters over the years that we’re sure fans know him best as. But even if you never watched Party of Five in the ’90s, you likely at least know that was one of his major roles. So in honor of the 25th anniversary of the series finale, when Wolf stopped by TV Insider’s office to discuss his Doc role in-depth, we had him look back at a cover of TV Guide Magazine from December 9, 1995, for that family drama. “This is the throwback of throwbacks for TV Guide Magazine. I’ve talked about this edition for years. ‘The Best Show You’re Not Watching,'” he said, quoting the magazine. “It was this honor, but also this weird honor. It’s like, you’re the best of the not happenings, but we also knew that the whole point of it was to...

Here’s 3 Reasons Why ABC Needs To Save Doctor Odyssey
Image
Doctor Odyssey is at risk of cancellation. It’s currently on thin ice because it’s expensive to produce. But it would be a mistake for ABC to cancel this series.

Has Doctor Odyssey Been Renewed?

Deadline reported that Shifting Gears was renewed for Season 2. The network also renewed Grey’s Anatomy, 9-1-1, The Rookie, and Will Trent earlier this month. It also said yes to Abbott Elementary and High Potential. The only scripted series that hasn’t been renewed is Doctor Odyssey.

The guest stars and big production makes this series expensive to make. Ryan Murphy’s soapy cruise could see itself sailing away for good. In addition, sources suggested that the Season 1 finale could be a series finale. Yet, the network is struggling with a lack of scripted shows. ABC needs this show more than anything. Here are three reasons why.

1 – Not Your Normal Medical Drama

When you typically think of medical dramas,...

“Salt of the earth”: NCIS Star’s Comment on Mark Harmon’s On-Set Conduct Is Making Me Question the Whole Pauley Perrette Drama
Image
Having started in 2003, NCIS hit the ground running and never looked back. With Mark Harmon taking charge as the legendary Leroy Jethro Gibbs, the show quickly made a name for itself by blending mystery with banter. Packed with twists, heart, and some seriously iconic moments, NCIS has remained one of the best shows to have ever come out of the television industry. And while NCIS is still going strong, even it isn’t free from your regular Hollywood drama.

NCIS has seen many actors come and go during this period, some leaving a more prominent mark behind than others. Forensic Specialist Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette) was one fan-favorite character who stuck with the show through thick and thin. Then, one fine day, it was revealed that Season 15 would be her last. Since then, it has been widely believed that Mark Harmon may have had something to do with her departure.

After Kicking Arnold’s A** in Terminator, Robert Patrick Joined an Unwatchable Video Game Adaptation, Double Dragon
Image
Robert Patrick is best known for his chilling portrayal of the relentless T-1000 in Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991). His role as Arnold Schwarzenegger’s opponent cemented him as one of Hollywood’s most memorable villains, especially given the scary nature of the character he portrayed.

Following his career-defining role, Patrick took an unfortunate detour into the realm of video game adaptations with Double Dragon (1994). Instead of delivering another iconic performance, Patrick found himself trapped in a cheesy mess of bad action, effects, and script.

Released in 1994, Double Dragon was an attempt to bring the popular 1987 arcade game to life, but instead, we now remember it as one of the worst video game adaptations ever made. The game had a simple premise. Two brothers,...

‘Doc’ Finale Audience Up 9% Over Series Premiere, Ending First Season On High Note For Fox
Image
Doc concluded its first season on a high note for Fox.

The finale of the freshman medical drama, which aired Tuesday, secured 2.4M total live + same-day viewers, per Nielsen, marking a 9% increase from the series premiere. In the 18-49 demo, the finale skyrocketed 56% over the premiere to a 0.28 L+Sd rating.

The demo success is particularly noteworthy, since its the strongest 18-49 growth for any major broadcast network scripted series, drama or new show, over the course of its premiere season since Fox’s Empire in 2015.

Averaging 2.3M live + same-day viewers and a 0.24 18-49 demo rating over the course of the first season, Doc is Fox’s highest-rated and most-watched new drama this season. Ultimately, episodes have swelled to an average of around 7.2M multi-platform viewers, more than tripling the L+Sd audience.

Doc Season 1 Finale's Richard Cliffhanger Addressed By Star: "That Was A Great Bait-And-Switch"
Image
Doc star Jon-Michael Ecker has opened up on season 1's cliffhanger ending and what this means for his character moving forward. Based on the Italian series Doc – Nelle tue mani, follows Amy Larsen, a chief of medicine who struggles to resume her medical career after a brain injury causes severe memory loss. The Fox medical drama debuted in January 2025, and Doc season 2 has already been renewed. One of the prominent plot points of the season 1 finale saw Scott Wolf's Dr. Richard Miller suspended for his cover-up of a medical error Amy had been investigating.

In an interview with ScreenRant, Ecker gave his views on the Doc season 1 finale's cliffhanger ending, claiming that the writers did a great job, and praising co-star Wolf's portrayal of Richard. He discussed the juxtaposition between Richard's underhanded behavior and prickly personality, and his desire to save his career and family, calling it a great bait and switch.

The following contains major spoilers from Doc Season 1, Episode 10, "...Must Come Down," which debuted Tuesday, March 18 on Fox.

The Doc Season 1 finale "...Must Come Down" is the episode fans want, but not the best possible one. Season 1, Episode 10 checks off all the boxes, as far as resolving or at least addressing all of the Fox medical drama's ongoing issues. But in the show's desire to get as much story as possible into 42 minutes, the script leaves a lot behind.

But Amy’s investigation in the finale revealed the truth, and when confronted, Richard had no choice but to confess. “Even those last conversations throughout this last episode where [Amy’s] talking about having to take responsibility, I still think there’s some hope in him that everything he’s doing, everything he’s saying is going to work. ‘Doc’ Star Molly Parker on That Satisfying Finale Twist, the Show’s Love Triangle and Looking Forward to Season 2
Image
Spoiler Alert: This interview contains spoilers from “…Must Come Down,” the Season 1 finale of Fox’s “Doc.”

Molly Parker never expected to lead a project that she considers as mainstream as a network procedural. In her 30 years in the business, the Canadian actor has tended to gravitate toward the margins, making a name for herself as an indie darling and a strong supporting player in the early years of prestige TV.

But in spring 2023, just days before the writers went on strike in Hollywood, Parker took a meeting with “Doc” executive producers Barbie Kligman and Hank Steinberg about headlining their new gender-flipped Fox adaptation of a popular Italian medical drama. At the time, Parker could not bear the thought of spending time away from her teenage son — who was then going into his junior year in high school in Los Angeles — in order to shoot a months-long project in Toronto.

Doc Season 1, Episode 9 Review: The Show's Most Bizarre Ending

Quick LinksDoc Season 1, Episode 9 Has Some of the Season's Best CasesDoc Episode 9 Officially Gives up on Dr. Richard MillerDoc Forces Its Love Triangle Back Into the Picture

The following contains major spoilers from Doc Season 1, Episode 9, "What Goes Up...," which debuted Tuesday, March 11 on Fox.

Doc Season 1, Episode 9, "What Goes Up..." is on track to be the Fox show's best episode -- until the final few minutes remind viewers of the series' previous shortcomings. The two cases of the week are interesting and well-cast, and the actors do some solid work. But then the script just chooses drama for drama's sake, and it all falls apart.

"What Goes Up..." primarily follows Dr. Amy Larsen on her first day as an actual doctor, since she passed the medical boards again in Season 1, Episode 8, "Man Plans." Amy discovers that her first patient is Tj Coleman's father, while viewers learn the role that Amy played in Tj's past.
