Edit

  • He was awarded the 1968-1969 New York Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Performance for the play, "In The Matter of J. Robert Oppenheimer" on Broadway in New York City.
  • Due to their similar dramatic voices, it's sometimes stated in sources that Wiseman (albeit uncredited) did the voice of Blofeld in Opération Tonnerre (1965). However, production notes confirm that it was Eric Pohlmann reprising his voice role from Bons Baisers de Russie (1963).

  • Although he played Anthony Holland's father in Bye Bye Braverman (1968), he was only ten years his senior in real life.
  • He and actor Roger De Koven both appeared in the same two Broadway plays about "Joan of Arc" - Maxwell Anderson's "Joan of Lorraine" and Jean Anouilh's "The Lark" - but neither actor played the same role in the two plays.
