Yesterday, DC Studios co-ceo James Gunn revealed that Dcu "projects from Korea, Japan, and Brazil" are currently in development. Though he didn't elaborate, it was generally assumed that the Korean project he's referring to is the Huntress movie we first heard about back in 2023.

At the time, reports indicated that the film was moving forward with South Korean filmmaker and screenwriter Jung Byung-gil in talks to write and direct, and a rumor that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 star Pom Klementieff might be in talks to play the lead did the rounds shortly after.

Nexus Point News has now shared some new details on these international projects, and the site believes that Klementieff - who has Korean heritage - is still attached to play Helena Bertinelli, who will be "depicted as half-Korean and half-Italian."

After 14 long years of waiting, the beloved Rube Goldberg machine-inspired horror franchise has added some more tallies to Death's scoreboard with "Final Destination Bloodlines." The sixth entry in the series is arguably the best it's ever been, a bloody fun time from start to finish with an unexpected amount of heart. The movie works exceptionally well because everyone involved very clearly understands what it is that makes audiences return to the series time and again, including the marketing team, who have promotional logging trucks driving around Los Angeles. With a screenplay from Guy Busick and Lori Evans Taylor with Jon Watts of "Spider-Man: No Way Home" and "Skeleton Crew" fame boasting a "story by" credit, "Bloodlines" is directed by Adam Stein and Zach Lipovsky, who earned their jobs in the most "Final Destination" way possible.

Comics, for decades, have been an integral mainstay of popular literature. Though often undermined and unappreciated by many, superheroes and many others have touched the lives of millions through the pages of their colourful worlds. With week one of filming for the Star Wars spinoff series Ahsoka Season 2 complete, series star Rosario Dawson showed how bruised up the show has left her.

Dawson is returning to play Ashoka Tano in the Disney+ series' second season. The actor took to Instagram to show off the bruises she sustained during the first week of filming. Dawson captioned the post, "Week 1 Won! Not A Weak One." Fans of the franchise's elaborate fight scenes can expect to see more in the upcoming season.

As a spiritual successor to the iconic animated Star Wars: Rebels, Ahsoka brought the titular former Jedi into the world of live-action. Dawson announced that Season 2 had begun filming in a different Instagram post with a behind-the-scenes teaser.

What to Expect From Ahsoka Season 2

Season 1 followed Ahsoka exploring the galaxy after the events of Star Wars: Rebels and The Clone Wars.

Ewan McGregor is back on the London stage for the first time in 17 years and his wife Mary Elizabeth Winstead was there to support on opening night!

Directed by French director Cédric Nicolas-Troyan, the feature is an English-language, live action adaptation of best-selling graphic novel franchise Blake and Mortimer by Edgar P. Jacobs.

The franchise, which has sold 20 million copies worldwide and been translated into 15 languages, revolves around the adventures of MI5 Captain Francis Blake and his scientist friend Philip Mortimer. Mylchreest will play Blake opposite Dunster as Mortimer.

Mister Smith Entertainment will launch international sales in Cannes on the French-Belgian-uk co-production, currently slated for a September 2025 start of principal photography, shooting mostly in the UK and Belgium. CAA is representing the US rights. Belga will distribute the film in Benelux.

Fargo wrapped up with its final season last year, and the show has seen many movie and TV veterans come and go through its five-season run. One of the stars from the first and second seasons of Fargo was Allison Tolman, famed for her role as Molly Solverson. Unlike many other TV shows, Fargo brings in a mostly new cast each season to tell a new story, with names like Billy Bob Thornton, Jon Hamm, and Jason Schwartzman all coming and going over the years. Tolman never came back after Season 2, but we now know this wasn’t due to a lack of interest. During a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Tolman was asked about her time on Fargo, and she spoke about it fondly but also recalled how difficult it was to stand on the sidelines after departing the show:

Ahsoka Tano was brought to live action by Rosario Dawson in the Disney+ series Ahsoka, which follows the adventures of the titular Jedi, in 2023. Recently, the actress posted a behind-the-scenes image that confirmed she had begun the much-anticipated second season of the series.

In an Instagram post, Dawson published an image of her shadow, clearly displaying the silhouette of her elaborate Ahsoka prosthetics and makeup. The post was captioned, "& we’re off…to galaxies far, far away….!" Multiple of Dawnson’s co-stars in the series, including Eman Esfandi, who plays Jedi Ezra Bridger, and Diana Lee Inosanto, who portrays the Nightsister Morgan Elsbeth, commented on the photo, calling Dawson a "Legend" and "Icon" and wishing her luck on this journey.

It’s been 20 years since Ang Lee’s Brokeback Mountain moseyed into theaters. The highly-celebrated film, which depicts the unexpected relationship between two young cowboys, won three Oscars at the 2006 Academy Awards and remains a classic take on Western romance in cinema. To honor the film’s legacy, Focus Features is re-releasing the emotionally charged film in theaters for special screenings starting on June 22 and 25.

Brokeback Mountain premiered at the Venice Film Festival in 2005, earning acclaim from audiences before its wide release. Many consider it a barrier-shattering release, as it spoke to various viewers and critics. The film revolves around Ennis Del Mar (Heath Ledger) and Jack Twist (Jake Gyllenhaal), two young cowboys working at the picturesque sheep herding locale, Brokeback Mountain, who discover a deep and abiding love for one another that lasts a lifetime. Lee’s film became a critical and commercial success upon release, with a $178M global take.

We got word that filming was set to get underway on the second season of Ahsoka last week during Star Wars Celebration Japan, and star Rosario Dawson has now announced that cameras are officially rolling with our first behind-the-scenes production photo.

The shot isn't especially revealing, but it's clear from the shadow that Dawson is in full Ahsoka mode here.

In many ways, Ahsoka served as a live-action fifth season of Star Wars Rebels, and season 2 looks set to introduce even more elements from the fan-favorite animated series, with Zeb Orrelios (presumably voiced by Steve Blum) set to join Ezra (Eman Esfandi), Hera (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), Sabine (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) and Chopper the droid as the Og crew of The Ghost.

We got a glimpse of what to expect from Ahsoka season 2 at the Star Wars Celebration 2025 in Tokyo, Japan. Rosario Dawson, who plays the titular character, joined showrunners Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau on the Live! Stage and discussed, among other things, the stories and characters of the second season.

Filoni announced that they will start filming season 2 in a week. Before Filoni delved into more details, Dawson confirmed that Hayden Christensen was returning as Anakin Skywalker. She reminisced about being in acting school with Christensen (which was also attended by Scarlett Johansson) and how naturally their real-life longtime friendship translated on the screen as everyone's beloved Skyguy and Snips.

However, Filoni made it very clear that he was not trying to tell more stories about Anakin. His inclusion in Ahsoka stems entirely from him being her former master.

"A very clear line I draw for myself is that Anakin's story was already told.

The Star Wars Celebration event in Japan dropped tons of big news for fans of the sci-fi franchise. A Darth Maul animated series was announced along with other animated series, Star Wars: Starfighter, Shawn Levy's movie starring Ryan Gosling was announced, and more.

On top of that, Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau spent a significant amount of time talking about the second season of Ahsoka. Exciting news included the returns of several characters, including the return of Hayden Christensen's Anakin Skywalker.

However, the most exciting revelations regarding Ahsoka season two come in the form of story details from Dave Filoni. It sounds like this season will feature even more action than the first season. Filoni said the first half of the season will feature an “all out” war.

For over 25 years, the "Final Destination" series has instilled a very special fear of death with audiences. Everyone meets their end at some point or another, but these movies take perverse pleasure in showing all of the grisly manners it can manifest. Unlike other horror franchises like "Friday the 13th" or "Scream," where you can physically see the killer coming toward you, in the world of "Final Destination," Death can take the form of just about anything. All it takes is a loose screw, a curling iron, or a creep with a box full of hook hands to get the ball rolling.

It's very fitting for a franchise about a deadly omniscient presence to make you anxious of your surroundings at all times. But try as they might, the characters in every "Final Destination" usually meet a grisly end one way or another.
