‘Shazam! Fury Of The Gods’ Actor Jack Dylan Grazer Signs With UTA

Exclusive: Actor Jack Dylan Grazer (Shazam! franchise) has signed with UTA for representation in all areas, departing WME after about six months with the agency.

Grazer will next be seen on the film side in Focus Features’ Dreamin’ Wild alongside Zooey Deschanel and Walton Goggins. He’s also set to reprise his role as Freddy Freeman from New Line’s DC film Shazam! in its sequel Shazam! Fury of the Gods, which is slated for release via Warner Bros. on December 21.

Grazer voiced the lead role of Barney in 20th Century Studios’ Ron Gone Wrong, as well as the role of Alberto in Pixar’s Luca, which earned him an Annie Awards nomination for Outstanding Achievement for Voice Acting in an Animated Feature. The first image from the upcoming horror romance thriller Bones and All starring Chloë Sevigny, Timothée Chalamet and André Holland has been released, showing off a new coif for the Call Me By My Name favorite. The official synopsis for Bones and All reveals a cannibal love story that might be hard for some to swallow. Fans are already going crazy over Timothée Chalamet's crimson mane.

"The film is a story of first love between Maren (Taylor Russell), a young woman learning how to survive on the margins of society, and Lee (Timothée Chalamet), an intense and disenfranchised drifter, as they meet and join together for a thousand-mile odyssey which takes them through the back roads, hidden passages, and trap doors of Ronald Reagan's America. “Call Me by Your Name” director Luca Guadagnino is moving to TV with “We Are Who We Are,” and the upcoming HBO drama has released its first trailer on Sunday.

The limited series stars Jack Dylan Grazer, Chloë Sevigny, Alice Braga, Kid Cudi and Jordan Kristine Seamon, who makes her acting debut in the series.

The eight-episode show explores the upbringing of 14-year-old Fraser Wilson (Grazer), who moves from New York to a military base in Veneto, Italy, with his mothers, Sarah (Sevigny) and Maggie (Braga), who are both in the U.S. Army. Fraser gets into frequent arguments with Sarah, saying at one point in the trailer, “After all these years, I still don’t know if I hate you or not.”

Luca Guadagnino is set to start shooting his first TV series, “We Are Who We Are,” for HBO and Sky, “in a couple of weeks,” the director of “Call Me by Your Name” told Variety. Guadagnino is currently in Cannes with his star-studded short “The Staggering Girl,” which world-premieres Friday in Directors’ Fortnight.

“We Are Who We Are” will focus on “a group of American teenagers on a U.S. military base in Italy,” Guadagnino said, particularly two 14 year olds, a boy and a girl named Fraser Wilson and Caitlin Harper. The two become close amid their posse of teenage friends, who think they’re a couple. But Fraser is experiencing confusing feelings about his identity and develops an innocent romantic connection with an older soldier.

“All the characters are from the U.S.,” Guadagnino said. Casting was done in Los Angeles, London, Africa and Italy.

Those hoping the filmmaker, Luca Guadagnino would be concentrating on the ‘Call Me By Your Name’ sequel will have to wait a little longer the ‘Suspira’ filmmaker is heading to HBO to get behind their new series ‘We Are Who We Are’.
