- She almost auditioned for the role of Juanita de Cordoba in Alfred Hitchcock's L'étau (1969), while she was traveling to the United States. The part was given to Karin Dor.
- There is a theater in São Paulo named after her: Theater Eva Wilma. It was inaugurated on November 14th 2003.
