  • Trivia
Frank served 3 terms as a member of the General Synod of the Church of England, between 1985 and 2000.
  • Quotes
[on Bill Pertwee] He always used to play himself down as an actor, he always used to say "I'm not really an actor, I'm a turn. All I do is shout a lot and push people around." I think that's Bill typically playing himself down because I think he was a very good actor. There are a number of scenes in Dad's Army (1968) where you see a different side of him.
