- Roman Wilhelmi was a prominent Polish actor known for his work in theater, film, and television. He graduated from the Aleksander Zelwerowicz Theatre Academy in Warsaw. Wilhelmi began his career on stage with the Ateneum Theatre in Warsaw. His most notable film roles include Hotel Pacific (1975), Histoire d'un péché (1975), and Cma (1980). - In the "Polityka" weekly magazine ranking for the most important Polish actors of the 20th century he came 8th.
- His first movie appearance was a small episode in "Eroica" by Andrzej Munk in 1957.
- He joined the "Ateneum" theater in Warsaw in 1958, in which he spent almost 30 years. In 1986 he joined the "Nowy" theater in Warsaw and played there until his death.
