- Knut Wigert was born on October 3, 1916 in Norway. He was an actor, known for Kong Lear (1985), Bare et liv - historien om Fridtjof Nansen (1968) and Un homme voit rouge (1974). He died on June 14, 2006 in Oslo, Norway.
- Had his debut on stage in 1937. His movie debut was in "Tante Pose" from 1940. He have played several roles in play by Tennessee Williams, Shakespeare and Henrik Ibsen.
- Has received a Knighthood, First Class of the Order of St. Olav (highest order in Norway).
