- Is also a graffiti artist and designer.
- Completed the infamous Royal Marine PRC course but decided not to pursue a career in the armed forces.
- Married to actress Polly Kemp who played the character of Miss Piggy in Four Weddings and a Funeral. They met when they were both in Greg Doran's production of "Macbeth" at the Royal Shakespeare Company.
- Graduated from RADA in 1996, along with Aidan Macardle, Matthew Rhys and Amy Robbins.
