Aaron Eckhart's Upcoming Disaster Movie Could Be The Deep Blue Sea Sequel I've Been Waiting For
Image
Get ready for Aaron Eckhart's upcoming shark movie Deep Water, which could be the Deep Blue Sea sequel audiences have waited for. Director Renny Harlin's return to shark-infested waters will surely bring back the excitement of his past horror hits. Eckhart's action star evolution continues in Deep Water, a film that promises wild deaths and thrilling action.

I can't wait for Aaron Eckhart's upcoming disaster movie, which promises to be the Deep Blue Sea I've waited 25 years to see. I can still vividly recall the visceral shock that rippled through the theater during Samuel L. Jackson's death in Deep Blue Sea in 1999, where his character is snatched by a shark in the middle of a stirring speech. This has since become the most iconic part of the Renny Harlin-directed blockbuster, but there's still plenty to enjoy about this finely crafted B-movie.

Deep Blue Sea arrived at a curious time for visual effects,...

Network 10 renews Screentime’s ‘Playing for Keeps’
‘Playing for Keeps.’

The overnight ratings on Wednesdays for Network 10’s Playing for Keeps were respectable but the catch-up numbers are so healthy the broadcaster has commissioned a second series.

The first seven episodes of the Screentime-produced drama drew an average audience of 503,000, including time-shifted viewing, in the mainland capitals.

But the catch-up component jumped from 9 per cent for the premiere to 25.9 per cent for episode 5, 17.9 per cent for ep 6 and 21 per cent for ep 7.

The finale had 599,000 capital city viewers, which was up by 49 per cent or 197,000 viewers from the overnight number, including broadcast VOD viewing and the encore screening.

“We’re thrilled that Playing for Keeps has really found its place in the market,” said Network 10 head of drama Rick Maier, who came up with the idea of the show about Afl footballers’ wives and girlfriends and took it to Screentime.

“It’s become a bit of...

With preparations already underway for the 30th celebrations and the possible return of Kylie Minogue - the show's most famous breakout star - being teased, we want to find out who else you would like to see back in Ramsay Street to celebrate the show's birthday.

Here are our suggestions on who they could bring back:

Former 'Neighbours' star Madeleine West reveals horror of bus crash
Madeleine West
Madeleine West has revealed that she suffered serious brain injuries when she was involved in a serious accident almost ten years ago. The Australian actress, who used to play Toadie Rebecchi's wife Dee Bliss in Neighbours, said that she needed rehab and plastic surgery after being hit by a bus on a Sydney street in 2002. West said that she was told to keep quiet about her injuries to save her acting career but admitted that she could not ignore the migraines, memory and co-ordination issues she suffers as a result of the crash. Speaking at BrainLink's Women of Achievement Awards earlier this week, West said: "I was advised by my agents and bosses to sort of pretend it didn't happen.
