Ewa Wencel is a renowned actress and scriptwriter. She graduated from the Polish National Film School in Lodz in 1980. She has been a part of the Teatr Kwadrat in Warsaw since 1987 and became its director in 2023. Her debut was in the TV show "Malgosia contra Malgosia" in 1980. She played significant roles in movies like Nad Niemnem (1987) and Le dernier bac (1989). She received an Eagle award for her supporting role in La place du Saint-Sauveur (2006). She also co-wrote the TV series Czas honoru. Powstanie (2014).
