Hilde Weissner was born on 3 July 1909 in Stettin, Pomerania, Germany [now Szczecin, Zachodniopomorskie, Poland]. She was an actress, known for Something for Everyone (1970), La vengeance de Siegfried (1966) and La vengeance de Siegfried 2 : Le Massacre des Burgondes (1967). She was married to Gerd Ribatis and Peter Holm. She died on 30 May 1987 in Salzburg, Austria.

    German singer and leading actress of the 1930's, trained for the stage under Herbert Hübner and Maria Eis. She made her debut at the Schiller-Theater in Hamburg in 1929, playing the part of Mary Stuart. She had a successful tenure at the Preußischen Staatstheater under the direction of Gustaf Gründgens between 1934 and 1939. Weissner was also a popular leading lady of the period, especially paired with Heinz Rühmann in Die Finanzen des Großherzogs (1934), her first starring role, and as a crook in On a arrêté Sherlock Holmes (1937). After the war, she concentrated again on the stage and resurfaced in the 70's as a character actress on television. After her retirement, she was involved in various charitable works.
