John Webster(1578-1634)

His play, "The Duchess of Malfi", was performed in a Shakespeare Memorial Theatre production at the Aldwych Theatre in London, England with Peggy Ashcroft, Eric Porter, Derek Godfrey, Siân Phillips, Max Adrian, Ian Richardson, Patrick Wymark, Stephanie Bidmead, Clifford Rose, Tony Church, Philip Voss, David Buck, Clive Swift, Roy Dotrice, Peter Jeffrey, Diana Rigg and Stephen Thorne in the cast. Donald McWhinnie was the director. Humphrey Searle was the musical director.
