    • Eileen Way was born on September 2, 1911 in New Malden, Surrey, England, UK. She was an actress, known for Les Vikings (1958), L'enlèvement de David Balfour (1960) and Sean's Show (1992). She was married to Felix Warden Brown. She died on June 16, 1994 in Canterbury, Kent, England, UK.

  • She played Old Mother, the first character to die in Docteur Who (1963), in the second and third episodes of the series.
  • Was on the shortlist for Maren in The Brain of Morbius: Part One (1976) but Cynthia Grenville won the part.
  • Character actress of Mediterranean appearance. At age 16, the youngest student at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. On stage in Stratford-upon-Avon by the early 1930's', followed by a move to London in the 1940's. With Olivier and Leigh in "A Streetcar Named Desire" at Aldwych in 1949. Subsequently, found much work in films and TV. Married to psychiatrist Felix Brown.
  • Married to prominent British psychiatrist Felix Warden Brown from 1934 until his death in 1972. They had three children (1 son & 2 daughters).
  • Appeared in two of the earliest episodes of Docteur Who (1963) and then three years later had a small part in the movie spinoff Les Daleks envahissent la Terre (1966). She then returned to the TV series for one story in 1979.
