  • Two of his best known roles were stupid sidekicks (right hand man) of crooked sheriffs: The Misadventures of Sheriff Lobo (1979) playing Deputy Perkins opposite Claude Akins and Faut trouver le joint (1978) playing Harry opposite Stacy Keach.
  • Lives in Talent, Oregon. (May 2010)
  • Best known for his role as Deputy Perkins (no first name for him was ever given) in the TV series B.J. and the Bear (1978) and the TV series The Misadventures of Sheriff Lobo (1979). He also portrayed the same character Deputy 'Sam' Perkins in the TV series Opération danger (1971).
  • His son, Mason Thomas Watson, was born in 1969.
  • Attended San Francisco State, and then applied to, and was accepted, at RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts) in London.
  • Best known for his role of "Uncle Buster" in the TV series Harper Valley P.T.A. (1981).
  • As Bill Watson, he served as student body vice-president his senior year at Elk Grove High School. Elk Grove, California. His older brother, Tom, served as student body president two years earlier.
