  • Her parents were drama teachers and cast her in plays they produced. When she was 9, her mother's job at a modeling agency led to her doing commercials for local department stores. By the time she was 12, she already had an extensive portfolio, and traveled to Japan for modeling assignments which lasted for six years. She also briefly hosted a Japanese TV show.
  • The youngest of four children. Her family moved to Honolulu, Hawaii, when she was four. Her parents were professional actors who performed small parts on Hawaii police d'état (1968) and Magnum (1980).
  • Has a son, Oliver (b. 2001), and a daughter, Audrey (b. 2006).
  • Met future husband, Michael Gordin Shore, in acting class.
  • Graduated from Kaiser High School in Hawaii, USA in 1987 or 1988.
  • Both Promo 96 (1993) and PCU (1994) were filmed at the University of Toronto.
  • Daughter, Audrey, born May 31, 2006.
  • Portraying "Kate Howard" (Connie Falconeri) on Hôpital central (1963). (October 2007)
