- Klaus Voormann is most famous for designing the cover of the 1966 Beatles album "Revolver" and for playing bass guitar on John Lennon's "Imagine" album. Voormann dated famous photographer Astrid Kirchherr until she fell in love with The Beatles' original bassist, Stuart Sutcliffe, and left him. He first met The Beatles at a gig in Hamburg.
