Son of Friedrich von Thun

On "Kronprinz Rudolf" Max von Thun played the role of the Heir Archduke Rudolf, whose first cousin and successor as Heir Archduke Franz-Ferdinand was married (not dynastically) to the Countess Sophia Chotek, who happened to be Max's great-grand-aunt. At the same time, one of the characters was the Chancellor Eduard, Count Taaffe, whose great-great-grandfather was Countess Sophia Chotek's great-great-grand-uncle.

Performed at the Sackville Theatre in the UK from 1993 to 1994.

Both his parents are from Austria and he also holds Austrian citizenship.

He is the author of two children's books, "Der Sternenmann", published in 2018, and "Kleiner Tiger, müder Krieger", published in 2019.

When I was 14 I confessed to my mother that I smoke - the next day, there was a skull ashtray in my room. Instead of understanding the pedagogical message, I thought that was so cool that from then on, I have been collecting skulls.

I am generally lazy and only work for what is actually important to me.

I want to show children that there are different kinds of people who maybe look different but are the same in the end. Everyone has their value and if someone feels small and weaker than everyone else, they should believe in themselves and discover their own qualities.

I really used my twenties to sow my own wild oats and try a lot of things. Nowadays I don't have a problem at all with becoming calmer.
