Wilhelm Vorwerg was born on 6 August 1899 in Saarau, Lower Silesia, Germany [now Zarów, Dolnoslaskie, Poland]. He was a production designer and art director, known for Ziel in den Wolken (1939), La fille aux yeux de chat (1958) and Le gorille de Soho (1968). He died on 15 July 1990 in Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
