He was a writer and director, known for La Case de l'oncle Tom (1965), Európa nem válaszol (1941) and Jeunes filles en uniforme (1958). He was married to Mária Tasnádi Fekete and Eva Daghofer. He died on November 27, 1986 in Budapest, Hungary.
