Heidi's face was used for a line of mannequins sculpted by the late, Robert Filoso.

Her daughter, Cavanagh Matmor, is also an actress.

Heidi once had her own late night talk radio show on AM640 Toronto.

Heidi was a co-founder of CVAV (Canadian Voices of Asbestos Victime) She was a key player in banning the exportation of asbestos to third world counties. An independent documentary film, Canary In The Mine, chronicled her battle. It has been shown at Environmental film festivals.

Heidi von Palleske is also a novelist and poet. Her latest book, Two White Queens and the One-EYed Jack was endorsed by Jeremy Irons and John Irving.
