Biography

    • My journey as an actor has been guided by my commitment to impactful storytelling, and I am proud to have brought a wide range of characters to life across film, television, and streaming platforms.

      In 2015, I won Best Actor at the Silwerskerm Film Festival, for my role in Dis Ek, Anna.

      In 2017, I worked with twice-Academy Award-nominated director, Roland Joffé in The Forgiven, alongside Forest Whitaker. That same year, I starred in the South African film, Liewe Kersfeesvader, earning me a Best Actor nomination at the Silwerskermfees 2017. The following year, I took on a lead role in The Harvesters, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival 2018 and received nominations for the Un Certain Regard and Golden Camera Awards.

      I've also had the pleasure of working on Netflix's, The Kissing Booth 1,2 and 3 as Mr. Flynn, opposite my on-screen wife, Molly Ringwald.

      In 2022, I starred in the Netflix series, Justice Served, a role that earned me, Best Actor in a TV Drama, at the 2023 South African Film and Television Awards and a Best African Actor nomination, at the Septimius Awards 2023.

      Most recently, in 2023, I portrayed Killy Donahue, in 4 episodes of HBO's critically acclaimed series, Warrior (Season 3).

      In 2024, I completed, The Trek, which will be distributed by Global Screen in 2025.
