Captain America Takes A Hellish New Form as Ghost Rider in Marvel Art
Image
Captain America combined with Ghost Rider creates a unique and frightening new version of the iconic hero. The mashup offers a different side of Sam Wilson, showing a more raw and intense character dynamic. The Ghost Rider-Captain America hybrid could potentially bring a refreshing and captivating twist to Marvel's main canon.

New artwork from Marvel that combines Ghost Rider with Captain America has the potential to be the Star-Spangled Avenger's best form yet. Over the years, Marvel's comics have offered several different versions of Captain America, with some being positioned as more important than others. However, most versions of Captain America follow the same characteristics of being honest, noble, and a source of warmth for citizens.

Marvel has released a new series of variant covers from the up-and-coming artists of Marvel's Stormbreakers program. This month's Stormbreaker variant covers reimagine Marvel heroes as hellish versions of themselves possessed by...

Avengers Officially Ditch Their Celestial Corpse Base for New Headquarters
Image
Warning: Contains spoilers for The Avengers (2023) #2!The Avengers have had several iconic headquarters over the years but their newest base, the Jarvis Lounge, is both the perfect representation of their new status quo and a touching tribute to one of their oldest friends. After some time located in an alien corpse in the frozen Arctic, a bar/lounge is surely a welcome sight for Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, as well as somewhere much closer to the rest of the Marvel Universe.

In The Avengers (2023) #2 by Jed MacKay, Carlos Villa, Federico Blee, and Cory Petit, the Avengers have taken up residence in the Jarvis Lounge, the converted bar and former laboratory named after the Avengers' loyal butler Edwin Jarvis. The Lounge, located in New York City, was first introduced in Al Ewing, Kasia Nie, K.J. Diaz and Cory Petit’s Wasp (2023) #1 as the converted former laboratory of Janet Van Dyne’s father,...

Marvel Brings Back the Iron Man/Captain Marvel Bond the MCU Couldn't Show
Image
Warning: Contains spoilers for Avengers (2023) #1!Iron Man and Captain Marvel have shared many an adventure, but Marvel's newest Avengers series has reminded readers of perhaps their greatest shared struggle, their former alcoholism, and how deep their friendship really goes. By bringing up their time in AA, the story reiterates the deep trust between the two and shows why they are the perfect pair to stand at the forefront of this new incarnation of the Avengers.

In Jed McKay, Carlos Villa, and Federico Blee’s Avengers (2023) #1, Carol Danvers reiterates her trust in Tony Stark, who’s shocked that he’s her first pick for the new Avengers team, by reminding him that he’s her Alcoholics Anonymous sponsor. In AA, a sponsor is a trusted person who has been through the AA program themselves and can therefore guide a newcomer through the process and help them through whatever struggles they have.

Two of the Avengers' biggest stars just unveiled all-new looks, and the updated costumes could give the iconic MCU duo of Vision and Scarlet Witch their most striking makeover yet. In celebration of the third annual Hellfire Gala, the extravagant in-universe party hosted by the X-Men on their home island of Krakoa, Marvel is continuing their tradition of redesigning their most iconic heroes. This year, fan favorites Vision and the Scarlet Witch are among those receiving updated costumes recently revealed by Marvel.

The Hellfire Gala is the annual event held by the X-Men to celebrate their accomplishments as an independent mutant nation with their non-mutant friends and allies, has evolved into one of Marvel's biggest events of the years since its inception in 2021. ‘Shatterstar #1′ Review (Marvel Comics)
Written by Tim Seeley | Art by Gerardo Sandoval, Carlos Villa | Cover by Yasmine Putri | Published by Marvel Comics

A gladiator, a warrior, a hero…the man called Shatterstar has been many things, but one thing he’s always been is deadly. He’s not a man you want to cross or you’ll learn that fact all too well. Walk back into the darkness with Shatterstar!

Ok, confession time. Shatterstar has – since first discovering him in X-Force – been one of my all-time favourite superheroes for years. Even when he wasn’t appearing in any books! Now, truthfully, that’s more to do with how much of a badass he looks, rather than his actions (one of the reasons his recent Marvel Legends figure was a day one purchase for me!) – though he has one hell of a backstory, a backstory that is covered here in case readers are totally new to the character.
